Shepard Smith, Hero to Left-Wing Bloggers, Slams GOP Chair
FoxNews ^ | 03-22-2010 | Montag813

Shepard Smith is the DARLING of DailyKos, TPM, ThinkProgress and Media Matters. Why? Because he is a hard left-wing news anchor on what is supposedly the "Right-Wing Network"--FoxNews.

Moreover, Smith routinely bashes Republicans and gives Democrats a pass. Today was no different, as he blasted Republican chairman Michael Steele. But don't believe me...read what a Kos blogger had to say about the exchange.

Then you might want to email Roger Ailes and let him know what you think of his "anchorman"...

I've written more than once in praise of Shepherd Smith as the best newsperson on TV; today he proved it once again interviewing Michael Steele. I wish I had a transcript.

Things I remember include Micheal Steele talking about his new "Fire Nancy Pelosi" website, and Shep asking him, "Who's going to join your 'Fire Nancy Pelosi' movement? The people with preexisting conditions who can now get insurance? The people who couldn't afford insurance before and can now afford it?" Steele sputtered in response.
Then it was on to the language of the Republicans. After a series of quotes including language like "Armageddon," Shep asked Steele, "Armaggedon? Is that appropriate?" When Steele defended such language as the "feelings of the people," Shep asked him, "Armageddon? Do you know what Armageddon is?"

Then Steele got onto small business and how they hate the bill. "Is that the same small businesses who are getting a tax credit because of the bill?" asked Shep. More sputtering from Steele.

And to top it all off, later, referring to Bart Stupak, Smith actually referred to him as "anti-abortion" and not "pro-life." I don't know of a single other newscaster on any other station (not sure about Rachel) who would use that language.

Do you know what the nicest thing about Time Warner Cable service is? They have a service called “start over”. I can get home in the last 5 min. of Bret Baier, hit start over, and sit down and enjoy the entire Bret Baier report. By the time it’s over, Shep has only 5 min. left in his show and I don’t have to see his smarmy face.

Shep got off on one of those Leftwingtard rants and forgot that he was interviewing Mr. Steele.

Truly dreadful.

If I wanted that sort of nonsense I'd watch the other networks ~ and, in fact, I switched over to CNN right then and they had a cute little story on fuzzy bunnies and puppies ~ being roasted over fires in Pelosi's office. I said to myself "how nice".

The HBO Documentary “Outrage” outed both Shep Smith and Anderson Cooper as closeted queers.

http://the44diaries.wordpress.com/2009/10/03/hbo-documentary-films-outrage-do-ask-do-tell/

HBO would not have subjected itself to a libel claim without good support.

Does anyone know where to complain at Fox news about ol’ Roy opps I mean Ol’ Shep? I think he is a huge STAIN on a otherwise stellar network. Seriously can any one provide an address that would make a difference someone there to listen to it??

Same here. Never watch him. I can’t understand why he was hired in the first place.

Top that off with rivera being a featured speaker at the amnesty rally yesterday. Shep was loathesome and gloating today. Turned it off.

I think Shep and Maddow are the same person.

But only one of them wears make-up.

Yes, Shep SUCKS

But even a blind squirrel finds nuts every once in a while, and Shep is 100% ON TARGET !

WHERE THE HELL HAS STEELE BEEN THE PAST TWO MONTHS?

HAS HE DONE ANYTHING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE AND BUILD DURING THIS CONSERVATIVE ASCENDANCY AND TIDAL WAVE OF TEA PARTY ANGER?

THE ONLY STORY I EVEN SAW ON STEELE BEFORE YESTERDAY WAS HOW HE PISSED OFF REPS OF THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT!

It makes sense from a business perspective for Fox to have someone like Shep on.

But yes, he’s annoying.

Steele sputtering? Imagine that.

The RNC needs a serious shakeup, and that should be on the priority list.

The point shemp is that there were many ideas and plans out there that could have dealt with pre-existing conditions, and lowering the cost that were not this wealth destroying and freedom destroying monstrosity.
you and the other MSM apparatchiks are HO’s for stressing only the few good things (which could have been done easily)

“The gay-oriented Houston Voice has “outed” CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Fox News Channel’s Shepard Smith, charging that they “choose to hide and deceive — and to protect their incomes and images — at the expense of contributing important weight and star power to the gay civil rights movement.” Managing Editor Kevin Naff claims in an editorial appearing in the current edition of the Voice that Smith once tried to pick him up in a gay piano bar in New York City and that Cooper dodged a question about his sexual orientation in a recent New York magazine interview by saying, “”The whole thing about being a reporter is that you’re supposed to be an observer and to be able to adapt with any group you’re in ... and I don’t want to do anything that threatens that.” Commented Naff: “Does he believe that female and African-American reporters lack credibility to cover stories since their minority status is showing?”
