The government takeover of health care will go down in history as the worst piece of legislation to emerge from a Congress held in general disdain by the American people. The only bipartisanship on the health bill was in the opposition.
Usually autopsies are reserved for after the patient has died, but in this case it is useful to get ahead of the matter. The malformed health legislation is not the only reason Democrats are facing political extinction in November, but it is one of the most dramatic. The legislative process in this country has never been so unseemly. Arm twisting, backroom deals, special privileges and potentially criminal "government jobs for votes" agreements became a normal way of doing business. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi fixated on the mantra that the Democrats' health plan is "historic," but so was the Black Plague.

They did not commit suicide if this socialism takes root. They will all be given over paid government jobs that require no elections or accountability. It’s why the’re not worried about re-election. The backroom deals were the health Hitler positions they will be given and need not earn.
Obama is spending my 4 year old’s money. he will have no future-and when he mandates colege for everybody-my college degree will be worthless.
Looks like the bill will hopefully enter litigation as it encounters the 38 or so states who have lawyers lined up to fight it — all on its way to the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, we will be able to unravel it and let everyone know what the h#ll is in it.
Some 34 are working on that now.
It is also likely that individual lawsuits will be filed, by such men as Mark Levine.
We are going to make sure Obama doesn't do any more damage to the nation by stopping any more of his legislation in the Senate.
We are going to defeat the Democrats in every election we can.
This is a battle that is only beginning, we lost the first skimash.
Actually, Obama is taking out a credit card on you and every member of your family and he is racking up $40,000.000 worth of charges (per person in your home) and you won't even be able to take home a flat screen TV for the effort.

They are acting might sure of next November - must have finally gotten all the voting machine software set up to kick out every 4th or 5th GOP vote. Actually it will need to be more like 3/4 of the GOP votes kicked out.
Or they’re going to put census workers to work voting absentee ballots.
But .. the reality is .. the dems DON’T KNOW they have in effect done this to themselves.
When they finally get in that circle .. Which one will try to pull away first .. and which one will attack first. Who will survive .. one .. two .. maybe.
There’s a story in the Bible, where God confuses the enemy, and they turn and destroy each other. This is more of what I believe will happen.
It might have happened sooner if they had lost the vote, but I still believe it will happen anyway .. and November will be the greatest opportunity to get our country back and to vote in people who will do what the American people want, and not what the politicians want.

I appreciate your sentiment but I think the next battle will be this week, in the Senate. We may need to get in there again with the lobbying and etc.
It would indeed be wonderful if this scandalous, traitorous act results in the biggest rout of a political party in American history.
The cream on the pie would of course be our Supreme throwing the bill out as unConstitutional. Call me a Pollyanna, but I think they will, and it will be nice payback for O’s ugly behavior during his precious “speech.”
Eight months from now I think this board will be entertaining some very happy FReepers.
