Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer gave a very ominous prognosis of health care in the United States, assuming House Democrats have finally mustered up votes to pass particular legislation.
On a special broadcast of the Fox News Channel's "Special Report with Bret Baier" on March 21, Krauthammer announced upon passage of health care reform legislation in the House of Representatives, we will have a different country and on the road to nationalized health care.

Maybe a better question would be "When has a Federal entitlement program ever been repealed"? Offhand I can't think of a single one.
Serious. The libtards are the ones who whine, no us. We’re the ones who get things done.
We have got to let go of this always be nice & play by the rules mentality. This is a war now.
We were attacked from the outside on 9/11 & now the Soros jackals have attacked us from within—not just health crimes, but on every level.
I don’t get this idea of a renegade government as something tht has “happened” to us. It’s OUR country, these jerks work for US. The outcome depends on the choices WE make—nothing is inevitable.
Choosing to feel helpless will make us helpless.
We have to take our power back. Starting today.
Without a Republican (a *real* Republican) President there's no way.And even with such a President it would take a comfortable Republican majority in both the House and Senate.
Breaking news to Charles Krauthammer: we have been a different country for quite a while.
“Have the feds ever repealed a governmental power grab?”
we repealed Prohibition and that was a constitutional amendment. We can certainly repeal something that most Americans didn’t want in the first place.
I don't understand all the people drinking, crying, drinking, and acting under a pretense that politely acceding to this tyrannical and murderous legislation is somehow even open to discussion.
They can come and try to kill me and my family. We will defend ourselves. But I will not live under tyranny. And I'll continue to pray for this manchild President and his family.
Live free or die.
This is true. There was a group of them training at the club house in the senior citizen’s complex. They were all local part timers, many retirees, others older exec types who were displaced by BO’s economy. It’s tough for a 50+ yr old to get a job.
Your beef is with Washington, not the people doing the actual work.
We tossed out my 2010 census yesterday — figured nothing we ever vote for or against EVER, EVER comes to pass so why should we care if we are ‘counted’ or not?
Being constantly ignored by the welfare monkeys is getting tiresome.
By all means, let the census takers show up at this door. No one ever answers the door here anyway. We are ignored, therefore we will ignore. Enough already.
Charles predicted Coakley was going to win
Charles predicted Amnesty was going to pass with no problems.
I am sick of Fox Left News and its DC insider pundits !
In a theological sense they are.
But wouldn't it be funny if Obama announced tomorrow that he had a crisis of conscience and decided not to punish working people and the unborn and consequently wasn't going to sign the bill? Not in a million years but if he did, I can promise him my vote in all future Republican primaries.
I can guarantee you there will be underground doctors doing work for CASH! Guarantee it! They better hire more than 16,000 new IRS agents if they want to collect what they need to pay for this crap!
“Maybe a better question would be “When has a Federal entitlement program ever been repealed”? Offhand I can’t think of a single one. “
AFDC by Newt’s congress.
IMHO, if everyone who is able to would do some 2nd Amendment “shopping” TOMORROW, and I do mean EVERYONE and TOMORROW, that would send the marxists A REAL MESSAGE.
The people haveby amendment to the Constitution.
It was Prohibition.
LOL ... it was the people who put it into effect by an Amendment to the Constitution... :-)
Amendment XVIII (the Eighteenth Amendment) of the United States Constitution, along with the Volstead Act (which defined "intoxicating liquors" excluding those used for religious purposes and sales throughout the U.S.), established Prohibition in the United States. Its ratification was certified on January 16, 1919. It is the only amendment to the Constitution that has been repealed (by the Twenty-first Amendment) (1933).
It was put into effect by the people in these states...
You can do what I have done: end interaction beyond brief ersatz pleasantries during holidays/weddings/funerals. When someone is willing to subject you to involuntary servitude, taxation without representation, violation of equal protection (or what have you), they ought not expect business as usual. Blood may be thicker than water, but it is not thicker than freedom.

I blame all of those who could not make it out to vote for McCain. The bigger picture was staring us in the face in the form of unilateral government action and some of us could not compromise their principles and vote for McCain. I would take a rino over these guys anyday.
I would be very cool bordering on cold towards her. I am at that same point with my in-laws. I’m polite, but little else towards them and they know why. I have told my children what their grandparents have done to them, by voting for Zero, and supporting this bill.
Let grandma and grandpa explain themselves to my kids.
