Soldiers do risk their lives every day. How dare you presume to judge them. They do not live the cushy little life that a coward like you lives. Keep pushing your liberal crap, but leave our heroes out of it.

You were saying ...

Soldiers do risk their lives every day.

We're not talking about eliminating risks here (as if they didn't exist), because we all have risks in life, no matter who we are.

What we're talking about is that guy's first responsibility (which is to his family, his wife-to-be and his kids), and then, minimizing his risks (by his own proper choices), and not "eliminating" risks.

Being irresponsible towards his family and not minimizing risks... he has simply failed his family and done so for someone who is not even his family. That's putting his family second.

And the military does the most in minimizing risks. Just consider this... how many military people were killed in combat in Gulf War I? You can see that they minimize risks. It was less risky in Gulf War I in fighting those battles, than it was driving on U.S. Highways, in any one day in America... :-)
