Someone was watching us!
My quickly made sign.......
I like this hat.... :)
Have you called Mary Kuptner to get her to change her mind? ;)
Jolly good show. Thank you for going. I wonder who the people were on the balcony.
I love the pitchfork! I would love to see thousands of them!
I think these protesters may make the difference. God love them! And God help us!
A great pic would be Pelosi as Marie Antionette saying, “Let them eat cake!” Followed by citizens force feeding her some “humble pie!”
Can anyone make one of those?
Thank you for going and for posting these pics!
PING!!
Thank you for the awesome photos, ohiWfan! The original signs are just awesome; the originality is just amazing. See you haven’t lost your touch. Thank you for driving all the way from Ohio to represent all of us who couldn’t be there. A conglomeration of thugs has taken over our beloved country. If I wanted to live in Communist China I would have moved there. These photos deserve a ping to all the Snowflakes!
PING!!!
PING!!!!
Foxy, could you please ping the Snowflakes to this thread? The photos and signs are awesome!
I can only imagine what Tony would have had to say to the highjacking of our Nation
As ohioWfan says, we need to PRAY!!!!
Thanks for your efforts. Great pics.
We are praying, praying, praying today.
Ohio, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND!!! My husband, too, wanted to drive there but my teenage nephew is staying with us this week and we had to get him back and forth to school....blah, blah, blah.....excuses is why we have the government we now have. I’ve never been so ashamed of our government.
I pray American citizens remember this travesty in November.
Love the pictures! Thanks for the ping. How large would you say the crowd was?
Thanks for sharing and helping the cause! (applause!!!)
Great pictures but you have the same problem many of us have; there are not enough pictures taken with wide angle lenses.
I took pictures of the March for Justice in 1998, the 2005 Freedom Walk, Prince William Tea Party in April 2009, Prince William Tea Party in July 2009, the 912 Freedom Rally, Michele Bachman at the Capitol Steps in November 2009, and the Kill the Bill Rally March 20, 2010.
However, except for the 1998 March for Justice, when I was still using my wide array of 35 mm film cameras and lenses, none of my small digital cameras has a wide enough lens. The next gathering I am going to get out my Canon A1s film cameras and my 24 mm lens, which is the widest I own. I may even buy a used wider angle lens.
I recall what Eisenhower said after liberation of some of Hitlers concentration camps. Take lots of pictures because sure as hell they will be some bastard in the future who will claim it never happened.
We stopped to grab a sandwich down the street a few blocks from the Cannon Building where that disgrace of a Congressman, Gerry Connolly, hangs out. A TV tuned to CNN was carrying the news of the 100 or so participants in the Anti-War Rally but not a peep of the 30,000 to 50,000 attending the Kill the Bill Rally. Someone commented that CNN would not report a Tea Party Protest of several thousand people but they would report it if only a few people showed up. There is a great deal of truth to that observation.
I found a path behind the trees that are to the left of the Capitol steps where I could take several pictures to stitch together a panoramic view but the police caught me after only 3 pictures and told me to leave the restricted area, which by the way was not marked restricted.
