Despite reports on MSNBC that pro-life Democrat Bart Stupak, D-Mich., will vote for the bill, he remains a "no" vote.
I just talked to Stupak in the basement of the Capitol as he walked passed a throng of protesters calling for members to vote against the bill.
"I'm still a no vote. There is no final agreement." Stupak said.
Stupak and other pro-life Democrats are in negotiations with the White House on a deal that would involve President Obama signing some kind of executive order that would ban federal funding of abortion under the health care bill.
"We are waiting until we have an agreement with not just the White House but also the Speaker and others," Stupak said. "There is no agreement. It's still a work in progress. I think we have work to do. "
Yep, and if Obama agress right now; as soon as you help pass the bill; he will be there killing the deal he made with you.
Please do not vote yes. This is not just a life and death matter for the unborn; it is for all Americans too.
I don’t know how else to say this; but if I get cancer a third time(two of which I have survived)I will die without the medical care I have received. I hope I am not sounding selfish; but my life is important to me just as everyone else’s life is important to them as it should be.
I don’t want to be forced to die.
But “executive” on the stupak is illegal...attorneys have stated so...how can he use this...or is Bo just taking stupak for a ride...yep he is...
I apologize if this this sounds like I may be selfish; but I just don’t know what else to do.

Oh, please GAWD, let's stop this. He is a DEMOCRAT. DEMOCRATS are NOT "for the unborn." Any American who identifies him or herself as a Democrat is NOT pro-life. I don't care if he's personally voted against abortion or not. Standing with, supporting and aligning oneself with the Democrat Party is ANTI-LIFE! Period!

I don’t know about you, I don’t want a doctor that can barely speak English. Much less may not have been to a reliable Med School in the USA.
A doc that makes a D and a doc that makes an A is still called DOCTOR, same for some one who is a lawyer or teacher.
As of now, Stupak is saying “NO”. Several Left Wing media sites are saying “Yes”.

you are right...a democrat is a democrat is a democrat...My thoughts are cynical right now — I believe Stupak is a “yes” and always has been and he’s helping shape the “drama” building up so they can come out cheering that it was a “win” for Obama.
I also believe their overall objective (and belief) is to just get healthcare “in place” because the American public was dumb enough to elect him and will be dumb enough to just follow along like sheep.
I hope and pray that I can come back here tonight and gladly state I was wrong and too cynical.
All we can really hope for is:
1) ObamaCare is either entirely defunded or repealed before 2013/2014.
2) That the States “nullify” ObamaCare.
3) That the majority of these bastards are voted out of office in Novemeber and true checks and balances are restored.
