Come to think of it (after my 4th cup of coffee finally has me awake), let's say that Stupak agrees to vote in favor in exchange for a Presidential Veto of Federally Funded Abortions. What will happen to the 40 or so Democrats who are claiming they are voting for this bill because of that provision??

Stupak and the pro-lifers will everntually get scr*wed. They are Democrats first. They use “pro-life” to get elected.

The baby killing 40-50 libe Dems will geta wink and a nod from Obama that the govt will pay for baby killing. If this passes then we are headed toward eastern European style communism/socialism. This would be a positive because I think it will be more like Zimbabwe communism.

Eastern Europe and the USSR were awful for babies with abortion. Romania was probably the worst. I doubt Stupak and his gang consider these things.

Stupak and his gang will probably be double crossed and will just rationalize it.

Gee we have people here defending McCain and we are where we are now (hell) in large part because McCain-Feingold. People will rationalize anything and the TV will help.
