Good to know you’re praying—prayer is what I depend on.
My little granddaughter is 8 years old. She spent the night with me Saturday night. When we said our prayers, she ask God to protect our country and her house.
I haven’t slept all night either....just the thought of what passage of this bill means has made me sick....however, I must also keep in mind that even IF the bill is defeated, the progressive (communist) agenda will stop at nothing. They will be, as they have been for many many years, content to see the nation ‘evolve’, piece by piece, toward total takeover.
We won’t need any Botox :-)

For the first time in over 100 years...the purpose of this meeting is Republicans will be praying there....Demonstrators were also invited...and any democrates who want to come.
If you aren’t going to church maybe we should also pray with them at this time....I suspect it will be a moving moment in our History since God is the God of all History.
The list has Zack Space (OH) and I believe he has already decided to vote NO.
If America survives Obama, the shock should make at least a generation pay attention. Too much public “whatever” at Washington shenanigans eventually emboldens the wrong group to try something like this. None of the founders would ever have said “whatever,” regardless of their personal political bent.

Speaking of a “generation,” my son called me tonight from work. He’s 24. He’s an Asst. manager of a Pizza Hut, just got his real estate license, and has one year of college left. I don’t know how he keeps it all straight.
Anyway, he calls me at about midnight (their time) to ask me about the time of the vote tomorrow. I was shocked. He told me they were holding a “session” in the nearly empty dining room, waiting for closing time, discussing the HC bill. ???? I read the schedule to him, as it was posted here earlier, he thanked me and hung up, promising to call on his way home. And he did.
He said “Mom, I have no idea who is in favor of this bill. I had my whole staff sitting down talking about it. We talked about the 17th Amendment (WTF?), taxes, and being forced to buy insurance. Nobody likes any of this sh*t. My black co-workers are pissed, saying that if this goes through, that NO ONE will get off their ass to work, like they do every day. My oldest server is worried about the cuts to Medicare, because of her mom. Two other employees just purchased homes at foreclosure, working their budgets out to the nickel....now they have to buy health insurance? Obama will be lucky to be elected dog catcher after this train wreck!”
I was just shocked. Maybe there is hope for this place after all. Here was about a half dozen 20 somethings (plus a 35 yr old server), on a Saturday night at a Pizza Hut in NE Ohio....discussing Obamacare. And the 17th Amendment.
Go figure.
