While this Charles Blow definitely needs to put down the crack pipe, I do think he's not too far off here. I don't imagine that Obama will ever dip much below 40%.
PBS could show videotape of Barry molesting goats in the oval office, and to many on the left, it would only endear him more. Plus, the blacks are never going to abandon him. That's just the political reality. And, I don't think the Hispanics are much more apt to leave him.
Combined, that makes up about 20% of the entire electorate, or slightly more. Add that to the 20% hard-core leftist, commie-pinko, Chavez-Castro lovers, and you get 40%.
