I spoke to McCollum at an event last week about the possibility of this bill passing - he did indicate he was ready to fight it in the courts to protect Floridians.
It’s a win win for McCollum - it shores up Conservatives around him and away from Dockery, he picks up a ton of Independent voters and others who are against this bill.
He goes into the Governorship with an actual mandate - protecting the rights of Floridians against an over-reaching Federal Gov.
its seems you can say the bill is dangerous (bachman) and flawed but you can’t say it is unconstitutional without being charged 5 seconds in time.
