I went to another church in my neighborhood once and the priest ended by urging us all to go see Algore’s movie. I would have walked out only Mass was over.

I had a talk with my priest a couple of weeks ago about how Catholics should not be promoting the current Democrat party.

He is Polish, straight from Poland. Been here 15 years.

He started to talk about how abortion, though terrible, is not a reason we should hate our fellow man, and despite anyone's views on it, we should still welcome them into the church.

If the Bishops successfully get the administration to eliminate funding for abortion, at least, convince everyone that the funding will not happen, (yeah, right) I will officially be belonging to a religion that puts the environment above capitalism, numbers of parishoners over advocating murder, and health care being a right, not a priveledge.

And, I'm not done, if the Catholic Church believes that these deals with the current Democrat Party isn't going to bite them in the ass, they've got another thing coming. When all this becomes implemented, the government (and it's already happening)will decide that every hour the faithful put toward helping the poor voluntarily will have a dollar figure on it, and will be used to grab more liberty by suggesting that those dollars be covered under more legislation down the road. Which in turn will bring the Catholic faith directly under government control.
