Why would I bother to refute your points when you haven’t even acknoledged mine? I clearly posted the paragraph you claimed I haven’t even read in post 30, and made several points of my own. Your only counterpoint was that you thought Reagan was a liar and a political panderer.
You really expect people to carry on a debate with you after you refuse to acknowledge any point that the person you’re trying to goad has made? That ain’t how it works, pal.
And your integrity is on display for everyone here to see.

The problem youre having with the statement Well, the first and most important thing is that government exists to protect us from each other obviously stems from your own need to apply a libertarian set of ideals to it, rather than view it through the historical perspective of the man who actually said it (note: it wasn't you). As I said earlier, anarchy for Ronald Reagan didnt look much like the set of The Road Warrior. To Ronald Reagan, a goverment that protects us from each other obviously did mean one that would invent the so-called War on Drugs. Most Conservatives agree with him. Most libertarians, obviously, do not, which is why you hate reading it. Unfortunately, it's 100% true.
