Of course we shouldn’t put our faith in Dick Morris.

But it is very, very, very, very late in the game for this still to be in doubt. Pelosi’s only hope of keeping her fragile coalition together is to create an aura of inevitability. To get wavering Dems to vote yes, it must appear to be a lock.

Otherwise, ten then twenty or even more Dems defect, and the thing loses by a significant margin.

If Pelosi can’t name the 216 votes today, she’s done. And it will end up falling more than a handful of votes short.

That's right. As soon as "no" gets to 216, this becomes a rout.

“To get wavering Dems to vote yes, it must appear to be a lock.”

That would be conventional wisdom, but they are desperate. Most Dems, especially the ones in tight races, would love to be told they can vote no on this POS. Voting yes, for many of them is political suicide.

That’s why I loved what Tom Coburn said yesterday.

Then, like someone said, they may punt - AGAIN. But the longer this goes the better (even though SUPER annoying.)

Listen, before Brownie was elected, I thought they’d pass this crap sandwich by Jan. Their approval is in the total tank, plus they’re having to resort to bizarre tactics...

Even that is a sort of victory. We can challenge them in court and in the ballot box.

We WILL shut these marxist wannabes down.

You have ALL 178 Republicans AGAINST Obamacare.

You have 37 Firm ‘No’ Democrats AGAINST Obamacare.

The ‘NO’ votes are at 215. Obamacare is on the precipice of defeat 48 hours before the ‘Final’ vote.

There are 45 ‘UNDECIDED’ votes. San Fran Nan has to win ALL 45 of the ‘UNDECIDED’ votes without ANY defections to ‘NO’.

San Fran Nan pulls 10 votes; the other 35 vote to kill Obamacare. FINAL SCORE: 250 ‘NAY’ 179 ‘AYE’ 2 Abstentions.

Obamacare is DEFEATED......Film at 11.

Kirk: ‘Bones perhaps we could just get all 45 ‘Undecided’ votes to vote ‘Yes’ on Obamacare?’

BONES: ‘I’M A DOCTOR NOT A MIRACLE WORKER!!’ [with emotion]

Kirk: ‘Then perhaps we could....

BONES: ‘It’s dead Jim’.

Pelosi’s only hope of keeping her fragile coalition together is to create an aura of inevitability.

That worked splendidly for President Hillary Clinton in the 2008 primaries.
