Sean Hannity’s Freedom CONcert Scam
Debbie Schlussel Blog Post ^ | March 18, 2010 | Debbie Schlussel

Posted on 03/18/2010 12:54:44 PM PDT by TRY ONE

For the last several years, Sean Hannity and the Freedom Alliance “charity” have conducted “Freedom Concerts” across America. They’ve told you that they are raising money to pay for the college tuition of the children of fallen soldiers and to pay severely wounded war vets. And on Friday Night, Hannity will be honored with an award for this “Outstanding Community Service by a Radio Talk Show Host” at Talkers Magazine’s convention.

But it’s all a huge scam.

No. They were just one of many sources reporting FA's "F" rating from AIP.

The chairman of the Foundation, a group which the American Institute of Philanthropy is linked to, led the Ford Foundation’s (ann dunham link?) “Peace and Social Justice” program. That says something to me.

Indeed, they “watch Fox, so I don’t have to”. Great. Can’t they just watch MSNBC, and increase their ratings by 100%?

Perhaps you're unaware of the criteria that goes into AIP ratings.

Veterans Charities Ratings Explained

~snip~

Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NCRS) has fund balances of $158 million as of 2005. Its years of available assets is lower at 4.8 years, barely low enough to keep them from earning an automatic F grade for charities having over 5 years worth of available reserves.

[So, when AIP's "automatic F" is applied for charities with more than 5 years' cash reserves, Air Force Aid Society's rating drops to "F" as does Army Emergency Relief's. Navy-Marine Corps Relief drops to a "C" under that system.

- - - - - - -

Assets held for later years "deem" the charities an "F" grade.

Shaping the Agenda
E-mail Print

InterAction is the nation’s leading advocate for international relief and development programs and the prime representative of U.S.-based international NGOs in forging alliances to further common objectives domestically and around the world.

By creating meaningful relationships with legislators and policymakers, InterAction maximizes our community’s capacity to advance poverty alleviation and humanitarian relief as foreign assistance priorities. Members work to increase U.S. development assistance and improve its effectiveness and to promote U.S. support for the Millennium Development Goals. InterAction’s Foreign Affairs Briefing Book, presented to the Obama administration transition team, reflects our community’s wealth of experience and best thinking on the issues and key areas and sectors in need of serious attention.

InterAction works to protect NGO space by challenging regulatory restraints and the growing involvement of the U.S. military in humanitarian and development activities. Our members’ ability to attract private funding—which currently outweighs U.S. government funding by a ratio of 2 to 1—helps promote recognition that U.S. NGOs are significant and independent development actors in their own right.

Our coalition’s willingness to partner globally positions it to take a lead role in shaping the broader international development and humanitarian debate. InterAction facilitates and coordinates U.S. NGO input into the agenda of annual G8 and G20 summits, and also coordinates advocacy efforts with NGO platform counterparts from around the world. InterAction continues to form strategic alliances with key civil society organizations and networks around particular issues such as aid effectiveness, strengthening NGO influence on the decisions of the UN and other multilateral institutions.

News Hounds is not just a libtard group, it was founded to “watchdog” Fox News Channel, by moveon.org.

It’s a radical Left-wing hate group and also sponsored by some Islamic Foundation. It’s on their page.

This is a left wing org. rating charities for the purpose of funneling unwitting donors monies into those charities they feel are more worthwhile. Community organizers.

Thanks. Just looking at the posted page I found it was odd that their Expert Source’s name(American Institute of Philanthropy) was not hyper-linked. They did not want anyone to look too closely at this so-called expert source. Typical lefty tactic.

Debbie Schlussel’s Sean Hannity bashing goes back to 2007 or further

Debbie Schlussel is also a Sarah Palin basher.
Also takes off on her kids and the usual the Left wing bloggers drone on about.

Schlussel has also snarked on Pamela Geller of Altas Shrugs, one of the better Conservative writers and blogers.

Looks like Debbie Schlussel has personal problems

Right. They never want anyone to look beneath the veneer. As with my post #528 somebody finally cornered the top dog of AIP to make him explain AIP's rating criteria.

Yeah, she’s been vicious and vile for a good many years.

Her timing on this hit piece was too transparent even for the most transparent administration in history! LOL.

Ya don’t have time to look now Sean and Mark.

You’re too busy exposing Obamacare and filing lawsuits that will overturn Obamacare and embarrass the administration!

Hell, it might even cause a Constiutional crisis, so let’s have Schussel run a hit piece you’re too busy to answer.

Welcome to Chicago politics, via Detroit.

From your link:

“We know these groups do good work on behalf of our military service members and their families, using 93-94% of their budgets on program services, and spending only $2-3 to raise $100.”

Completely unlike the concerts.

Given Schlussel’s track record, I wouldn’t believe
what papers she may or may not have.

Schlussel has been involved in too many bashing on various
respected people who are Conservative.
