On the same Christmas morning Santa brought me the coonskin cap, he also left me a Tommy Gun.
I had a cap gun. I loved the smell of "gun powder" in the morning.

I had one too but my patience would run thin.

I'd end up hitting the whole roll with a hammer.

Even tho I was just "a dumb ol'girl" (LOL!) I loved playing "war" with my brother and his friends...My brother had a plastic camouflage-colored tommy gun with the authentic rat-a-tat sound and we would fight over who would get to play with it.The rest of us would just use tree branches trimmed to look like machine guns and make the noises ourselves! LOLOL
