He's confident it will pass and he doesn't worry about his standing should it not pass as he's more concerned with what it will do to the families facing hardships TODAY.
Why doesn't anyone counter the talking point and ask, when he cites the poor woman suffering cancer and losing her home, if things will be better for her in THREE YEARS when the bill is finally enacted? Will her cancer wait until then?
