I agree with every word you stated. Hunter is by FAR the best we have in America at this time in history. I saved your list because I am going to smack some folks with it in the future.

He is the best. But if he doesn’t run, we’ll need someone who comes awfully close to this. Our republic is at a crossroads. We will either fall into incompetent, socialist irrelevance or restore the founder’s creation.

I’ll stand behind Jim DeMint. He’s one of the few great ones in Washington these days.

By far might be an understatement.

McClintock was lucky to squeek by in a Republican dist.
DeMint/McClintock would give Obama a 2nd term slam dunk.

If Obama is still around to run again, my border collie could beat him ;-)

He won’t say until after the 2010 elections. I’d put it at 50/50 right now.

Why do I feel our biggest war in the next election will not be Obama or the DNC, but our OWN PARTY!!

I sure hope not. Conservatives need to align to smash this bankrupt bound nanny statism.

I hope not as well, but do you see any indication that the powers that be in the GOP/RNC have learned their lesson? If so, please enlighten me.

I see glimmers of hard nosed conservatism from some who were not previously known for it: Boehner & Cantor come to mind.

But with Michael Steele at the RNC and Cornyn running the NRSC, its still largely a RINO fest. that is why we need a rock ribbed presidential candidate, to pull the party towards finishing the Reagan Revolution.

Sarah Palin: Obama Engages Iran, Cuba, Sudan, N Korea & Burma But Concocts Israeli Controversy!

Tuesday, March 16, 2010

The Obama Administration reaches out to some of the world’s worst regimes in the name of their engagement policy. America and our allies watch as sanctions are eased on Cuba. Letters are written to Iran’s mullahs only to see that regime start killing protestors in the streets of Tehran.

Envoys are sent to North Korea as they continue to defy the world’s demand to give up their nuclear weapons. The Burmese military junta’s representative is allowed to travel to our nation’s capital. The President’s envoy for Sudan talks about giving that genocidal regime “gold stars,” while the President shakes hands with Venezuela’s tyrannical leader.

In the midst of all this embracing of enemies, where does the Obama Administration choose to escalate a minor incident into a major diplomatic confrontation? With Iran, Cuba, Sudan, North Korea or Burma? No. With our treasured ally, Israel.

Last October, Secretary of State Clinton recognized Israel’s desire for peace in the Middle East and praised Israel’s “unprecedented” concessions for agreeing to halt settlement construction in the West Bank, a concession that did NOT include halting construction of apartments for Jews in Jerusalem.

Even last week after planned construction was announced, Vice President Biden still expressed “appreciation” for the “significant” steps taken by the Israeli government to address this minor issue.

Now, however, we see the Obama Administration has decided to escalate, make unilateral demands of Israel, and threaten the very foundation of the US-Israel relationship. This is quickly leading to the worst crisis in US-Israel relations in decades, and yet this did not have to happen.

More importantly, it needs to stop before it spirals out of control. Vice President Biden should rein in the overheated Obama Administration rhetoric and chill the political spin masters’ fire as they visit the Sunday media shows to criticize Israel.

Once again, the Obama Administration is missing the boat on a very, very important issue. They need to go back to the basics and acknowledge Palestinian leaders have not progressed any peace process since President Obama was elected.

As Israel makes concessions (and is still criticized by the Obama Administration), Arab leaders are just sitting back waiting for the White House to further pressure Israel. The Obama Administration needs to open its eyes and recognize that it is only Iran and her terrorist allies that benefit from this manufactured Israeli controversy.

Vice President Biden was actually right when he said last week, before the construction announcement, that “one necessary precondition for progress is that the rest of the world knows...there is absolutely no space between the United States and Israel when it comes to security.

” Right now, thanks to the Obama Administration, there is a chasm. It’s time for President Obama to push the reset button on our relations with our ally Israel.

Sarah Palin

I am very impressed with Paul Ryan(so far).

“But with Michael Steele at the RNC and Cornyn running the NRSC, its still largely a RINO fest. that is why we need a rock ribbed presidential candidate, to pull the party towards finishing the Reagan Revolution.”

Agreed, but I fear we will also do battle with the entrenched RINO hierarchy.

Are you absolutely certain DeMint wrote that letter and not Romney? I mean, UGH, UGH and UGH.

I realize politicians endorse politicians for many reasons and I generally overlook those endorsements and I will again this time. It’s politics and I think DeMint despises McCain.

I’ve never based my vote on any endorsement by a politician or pundit or (God save us all) by a movie star or sports jock, so I think endorsements are stupid and worthless to most people except the candidate, who seeks or thinks s/he needs validation.

Well, its more than evident that Romney is going to run and get a substantial portion of the establishment $$ and vote. Pawlenty, Newtm, and Huck running should help split the RINO vote. So there is room for a conservative to beat these clowns. Most here seem to think that is Palin. I’d much prefer it be Hunter or DeMint or King or Inhofe.
