Agreed.

Bret will show too much deference to him and Obama will just spew out the Democrat lies without being questioned on them.

The office of President has to be treated with respect - Bret will do that - but he won’t be selling us out - or himself. Have faith.

Thank you.

Apart from putting words in my mouth, and contrary to your original assertion, you just confirmed my statement that there has been a recent change in ownership.

Viewers will be able to conduct a fresh evaluation of FOX as a penetrating and objective news reporter after viewing the scheduled interview.

No, there is no change in ownership of News Corp. The Murdoch’s control the company. The man is fully supportive of the company and the Murdoch family. He plainly says he is in it for the very long term and the money.

Take corporate finance 312 and learn about corporations and common stock and investing for a profit.

To learn what you are terribly misinformed about, go hunt up the interview and learn the error of your ways.

I hope Bret spends the entire time asking 0bama about all of his scandals, pinning him down on an answer over offering Sestak a job in an attempt to illegally influence an election, nominating Rep. Matheson’s brother for the 10th Circuit, what qualifies SEIU thug Andy Stern to sit on a deficit panel, clarification on his ACORN ties in light of Rep. Issa’s discovered tape, etc.

Bret shouldn’t allow 0bama to use the interview as another Sham-Wow infomercial for 0bamaCare.

I would add to your list the Gerald Walpin firing. He's the Inspector General that was fired by Obama without consultation of Congress, which was in direct violation of legislation that Obama himself, was co-sponsor.

Not a single reporter has asked Obama any question related to this - what should be - scandal.

Let’s summarize:

I asserted in essence that FOX had experienced “new” ownership and you responded with unnecessary sarcasm that there was no new ownership.

Arguably, you are correct – a superficial check reveals the most recent change of holders of voting stock appears to have occurred with the parent company of FOX, News Corp, sometime in 2005.

What is significant, however, and more germane to my original post, is that the guy who effected the change presently controls a significant second largest block of voting shares of News Corp.

This holder is currently described as the richest man in Saudi Arabia. This is the guy who tried to give Guiliani a big check following 9-11. This same guy has reportedly stated he can control the news on FOX.

That in itself is enough information to cause viewers to evaluate the interview with a critical mind.

Since you deign to give me advice on improving myself, let me offer some to you.
And, I do so as a reasonably successful investor who has served on more than one board of directors and who also has ME experience:
Stick with Wooly Worms, you have too much hostility to engage in polite public discourse.

You can have the last word.

"Bret has asked that questions be submitted? BUt I didn’t catch were to submit them. Any ideas?"

The email given for him at his own web page on FoxNews.com is the generic yourcomments@foxnews.com, which probably goes straight to a spam folder, and is never read. He's on Twitter @ http://twitter.com/specialreport

Other than that, I haven't a clue.

My question :

Were the situation in Congress exactly the same except that it was a Republican President and a Republican House and Senate doing what the Democrats are doing, would Obama be supporting this? What if the issue was War and not HealthCare? Would that make a difference?

What if by doing this Obama and the Democrats create a precedence which allows Republicans to take the country to war without the consent of over half the people?

That’s a good question...

I’d ask who in the White House tried to bribe the congressman* to change his vote/not run for office etc, and why Bad-gag Bob won’t answer Major’s questions.

Follow up would be “You realize that if you are aware of the incident and don’t disclose it, you will be quilty of a cover-up which is what lead to the Nixon Impeachment? Hey BO you following in RN’s footsteps too?”

*Purposely leaving the name out as I’m sure there is more than one.

The Murdoch family. Well - Murdoch supported Blair and the Labour Party through the Sun and Times of London.

15 years late or so - the UK is Islamified - borders were wide open and they are daily talking about sharia.

Murdoch’s first wife died and he remarried a younger attractive Chi Com woman. Big help for Murdoch on getting and staying in sat TV in China.

The children including one who was supposedly pretty Christian (son) - well the new wifey pretty much pushed the kids out.

They Saudi partner? 7% can provide a lot of control - just ask Carl Ichan. We also have no idea if the Saudis are part of this deal provided lines of credit in the tens of billions or help in the UK market.

Do not trust Murdoch.

Desparate times call for desparate measures.

However, what we're seeing from the Obama regime is that desperate times result in merely disparate measures.

The FOX News changes should also be analyzed may reviewing the US General for FOX, Roger Ailes, who I consider a RockRibbed Conservative...a good, thorough interview of Ailes on Uncommon Knowledge can be seen/heard here: http://fora.tv/2010/02/05/Uncommon_Knowledge_Fox_and_More_with_Roger_Ailes

Roger Ailes on Oabama; “He is under-exposed and over-exposed. He said he is going to be transparent. He is not. So that is under-exposure. He is on television every time I look at the television set. He is kind of over-exposed but he is not letting us in on any of the inner workings of what he is trying to accomplish. He has got. Peter Robinson:The press and people respond to that. You cannot pull that off. Roger Ailes:No they have an investment in him now because they jumped so far in the tank during the election they cannot get out. But, he is smart. If you go to the American people sincerely and say look, I really believe a 12 trillion dollar deficit is a good idea. You have to sell it, but it is going to be a hard sell. He has to sell his ideas. Richard Neustadt, you know in Presidential Power, 50 or 60 years ago wrote that the real power of the Presidency is the power of persuasion. Peter Robinson:Right. Roger Ailes:He said I did not sell my health care plan well enough. Peter Robinson:He had a year. Roger Ailes:He had 127 appearances to sell it, so either he needs to look at his speech writers or exactly what he is saying about it. The bottom line is if you think you can trick the American people; the old line is you...” http://fora.tv/2010/02/05/Uncommon_Knowledge_Fox_and_More_with_Roger_Ailes
