While Speaker Nancy Pelosi talks Deem and Pass, President Barack Obama is going a different route hes talking to Fox News.
In an extended, exclusive interview tomorrow he will sit down with Special Report anchor Bret Baier to make his health care reform pitch to the FNC audience. What a long, strange trip its been.
The interview will air in full at 6pmET tomorrow and will take place earlier in the afternoon. We welcome the opportunity to sit down with the President and try to get some specifics on the health care legislation, said Baier in making the announcement right after NoonET today on Fox News

Here's your chance Bret. Show us what you got.

The only thing I have agreed with is that ‘the time for talk is over.’
I don’t care if Glenn Beck does the interview. I have no interest in anything the Scarecrow In Chief has to say especially on this topic.

I hope Bret doesn’t wimp out....Obama is hoping for that...knows that Fox is classy and will show him respect...but this is Bret’s chance to expose the man for what he is....go for it....

This should be cute. Whomever does the interview had better be prepared - the point of this interview is not to be nice, or conciliatory, or to reach across the aisle, this is the Chicago thug's attempt to take the fight to Fox's home turf. This is a blood fight, not a pleasant little Sunday afternoon teaparty chat.

Chris Wallace had a softball interview with Gibbs on Sunday. I’m up for giving Bret a shot. He’s got the evening slot and used to be the Chief White House correspondent for FNC. He should be able to handle himself.

Bret... I just heard Obama tell a crowd that if they have insurance through their jobs, and Obamacare passes, their employers will save 3000% on their insurance costs.
Please ask him how the insurance companies will be able to PAY THE EMPLOYERS thousands of dollars to keep their product?
This POTUS is dummer den a bocks of hummers.
To: OldDeckHand
I’m sure Obama didn’t pick Bret just because he felt Bret would walk all over him.

Interesting thought—just who would be toughest interviewing him? Beck? Not O’Reilly. Not Hannity. Maybe Stossel? Palin? Maybe Meghan Kelly? Maybe Major? Not Wallace. Neither Greta nor Huck. Brit would have been interesting. Cavuto might hold strong. Certainly not cuddly little Bret, though he may have the least partisan identification.

Bret WILL do a far better job conducting the interview with Zero than O'Reilly did, while wearing his Obama kneepads.

He’s finally realized that no one watches MSNBC and CNN so it’s a waste of time.
