Poor census response feared

A decennial tradition that dates back 220 years to the days of George Washington continues today when federal census forms start arriving at more than 120 million households across the United States.

But hanging over this 23rd U.S. census are concerns about a decline in participation.

While the U.S. census has always evoked some resentment toward the feds for poking their nose into people's business, there's a sense that America's distrust of the government has reached greater heights and could contribute to poor census returns.

I just got my census form. Its a normal short form.

I am sure you dont have to worry. When your mom gets yours, she will also have no problem filling it out. You guys dont have to worry, since they dont send them to children.

Unfortunately not!
It was an honest to goodness indoor ‘outhouse’ in the garage.
(Actually it was a carriage house of a sort in Bradner Ohio, and it was set ito a discreet corner of said building.)
It was quite bizarre, but it was explained that it was indoors so one could use it without having to trudge out through the snow after tending the carriage.
It will forever remain one of those “what the” moments that sits in the family history.

I agree about the own or rent question, but the phone number would allow them to clarify an answer without the expense of sending someone out and asking whether you stay some place else would guard against counting you twice.
