As Health Vote Awaits, Future of a Presidency Waits, Too(Caption the Illustration)

SENATOR Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader, had a little political advice last week for Barack Obama." President Obama and the Democrats: Don’t pass the president’s health care legislation because you would risk losing in the midterm elections.

Mr. Obama laughed about it afterward. “I generally wouldn’t take advice about what’s good for Democrats” from Mr. McConnell, he told an audience in Pennsylvania. But he conceded that “that’s what members of Congress are hearing right now on the cable shows and in sort of the gossip columns in Washington.” He went on to argue that the issue should be what’s right, not the politics.

But this is Washington and politics are never far from the surface, especially at a decisive moment like this. If the schedule being mapped last week holds – and Mr. Obama’s senior adviser, David Axelrod, said on Sunday that it would -- the fate of the president’s health care plan should be decided within the week. “I believe we will have” the votes, Mr. Axelrod said on ABC’s “This Week,” though Republicans and even some Democrats have questioned whether the votes are there now.

But the plan’s fate could depend on how a couple dozen Democratic congressmen answer the questions Mr. McConnell and Mr. Obama raised: Would passing health care devastate Democratic chances in the fall? Would rejecting it devastate a Democratic presidency?

The great glowing master levitates in mid-atmosphere while a Swiss-style cross spontaenously floats down in a peaceful blue transparency to bring him confidence and well-being.

There, I captioned it.

Obama doesn’t care if the Democratic party goes down in flames. He is so desperate to get this passed because he will *instantly* establish the 13 new bureaucracies and fill them with SIEU union loyalists and thugs.

that’s what he wants -— the bureaucracy. and the unions to man them. All his loyal cohorts, his homies, his little ink-stained army.

And some, of course, will be outright thugs.

He wants the BUREAUCRACY, dear readers. Thirteen brand-new ‘health-care’ bureaucracies. And once that is in place he will fight tooth and nail to keep them from being fired.

He doesn’t care about the Democratic party. It’s too well, democratic. They have to be elected, they have to please the masses.

He probably doesn’t even like it very much. I am sure he doesn’t really like any political party that has to be elected by the people. he’s an authoritarian.

He thinks ‘the masses’ are greedy and retarded. They wear polyester. They have spinach stuck in their teeth. They can never be trusted to do what is best for themselves.

Only people with advanced views and are well-grounded in socialist theories are fit to run this country.

Most revolutionaries/communists will put up with ‘democracy’ for only so long.

Obama is looking forward to the time he and his friends can run this country through radicalized and union-controlled bureaucracies. then elections be damned.

As many people have noted, he is uncomfortable with the public or with any dissent.

That’s the plan. The Democratic party is merely a stepping-stone.

Here’s a telling excerpt:

“Rahm Emanuel, a former top adviser to Mr. Clinton who now serves as White House chief of staff, has often said Mr. Clinton’s problem was not taking on health care but losing on health care.”

He actually thinks the Democrats would have held on to Congress if they had rammed HillaryCare down the voters’ throats in 1994. That explains a lot.

That is a truly bizarre picture.

Aside from blatant blasphemy, notice the insignificance of the mini White House, overshadowed by hussein's "majesty."

In reference to your post on Soros’ involvement in the Secretaries of State Project, many thanks to cripplecreek from Michigan for posting this yesterday and alerting us to this potential crisis in American elections

http://www.secstateproject.org/

And thanks to Paul Kib

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2470040/posts

The Secretary of State Project is a Soros organization that puts up money to get their people elected to Secretaries of States in various states. So far they have elected 11 of the 13 people they have backed.

If their people get keep getting elected, there won’t be a chance for a fair election for years to come.

This is the ACORNIFICATION of state elections! Ask yourself this: Why would they be so concerned about getting their people elected in Secretary of State positions if they didn’t plan on effecting the outcome of the elections?

I like the Swiss Flag in the background. It is reminiscent of his overall plan to turn us into a European socialist country. It is also reminiscent of the Swiss Army knife. Something he can use to stab democrats who ultimate vote for the hc bill in the back.

That was OJ.

Would passing health care devastate Democratic chances in the fall? Would rejecting it devastate a Democratic presidency?

Of course, these are not the issues. They are the response to way the Rats seem to intend to respond to the issues. That said, here's one point that no one is making about the second question, "would rejecting Obamacare devastate a Democratic presidency?"

Apparently, this is the pickup line Obambi is using to try to seduce wavering Rats into voting for this monstrosity. For this to be true, though, Rats have to believe that IF Obamacare is passed, THEN Obambi's presidency will be nothing but bellowing trumpets of victory and rose petals from here to history.

Wrong. Obambi's presidency is ALREADY devastated. It will REMAIN devastated even if Obamacare is passed. (I would argue it would be even more devastated, if that is possible, if Obamacare passes.)

Even if some Rats believe that Obambi is not in irreversible political trouble with the American people, do they seriously conclude that Obambi's next blunder and the next --- crap and tax, amnesty, civilian trials for terrorists, etc. --- all the garbage that has been somewhat overshadowed by the Obamacare debacle --- do the Rats seriously see ANY scenario under which Obambi does not devastate his presidency by ticking off the American people?

Finally, do the rank-and-file Rats really want to stake their own political hide on the thin reed that Obamacare gets Obambi a second term? Really?

The point is that the Rats are being had as bad as Obambi is trying to have the American people as a whole. They are being told "don't devastate me" when (1) the devastation already is irreversible and (2) even if they commit political suicide and vote for Obamacare, Obambi himself will continue the devastation of his presidency all by himself. Because he's a dumb president. And he's a horrible politician. And he's not culturally an American. And everyone is on to him now.

“He actually thinks the Democrats would have held on to Congress if they had rammed HillaryCare down the voters’ throats in 1994. That explains a lot.”

I think Rahm’s way too smart to believe this bullcrap. But he’s counting on Dem’s ignorance of history to ram this thing through. It’s a self-serving lie being deployed to whip up support for a wretched health plan. As we’ve seen repeatedly, the ends justifies the means with this crowd. The president has shamelessly told lie after lie to the American public in a futile effort to dissuade them from their own common sense.

Mark Steyn did a brilliant job of explaining why Obama and the Dems are willing to go “kamikaze” (IE: to die politically, but only temporarily they are betting) for this abomination called ObamaCare.

Because passing it means ever-lasting power (at least for the rest of our lifetime and our childrens’ childrens’ lifetimes) for the left in America.

Like herpes, once we’ve got Obamacare, we’ll never get rid of it.

This is a Mark Steyn must read!

Thanks for posting the link to the Mark Steyn article. (I am reposting the link here for those who didn’t click on it in your post)

It is a “must read” indeed — he makes it very clear why the Dems are pushing obamacare, it will create a permanent government control of the American people.

Mark Steyn: Obamacare worth the price to Democrats

http://www.ocregister.com/articles/health-237719-care-government.html

“Why is he doing this?

Because it’s worth it. Big time. I’ve been saying in this space for two years that the governmentalization of health care is the fastest way to a permanent left-of-center political culture. It redefines the relationship between the citizen and the state in fundamental ways that make limited government all but impossible.”
