You'd have to be a retard to think the Slaughter rule will provide cover. Reconcilliation will die in the Senate and they will have to defend their vote on the Senate bill.

I have no doubt there are a lot of mental midgets in the House, but its not everybody.

Or call a press conference on Monday and state that this bill is an abomination and the this has been a corrupt process. Instant political player.

Many of those UNDECIDED belong in a different category. They say they are undecided, but if it is 215-215 and they are the deciding vote, they will vote YES.

COURTNEY
HALL
HIMES
CHRIS MURPHY (CT)
MICHAUD
NEAL
OWENS
SHEA-PORTER

y’all could add more.

Sure, but it won't get to 215.

You have to be comfortable voting for the Senate Bill as it stands. Period.

I think most of them are fine with voting for the Senate bill. At least the ones I’ve listed. They are “undecided” for political reasons, primarily because they don’t want to create a reaction in their district if their vote is never needed on this.

COURTNEY

CHRIS MURPHY (CT)
MICHAUD
NEAL
OWENS
SHEA-PORTER

none of these are “genuinely opposed” to the Senate bill. They are posturing.

I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps we could email those fence-sitters this bit of info. Anyone know why they would not stay quiet? I would hate to have Rahm after me.

But I listed 5 that are uncomfortable with voting for the Senate bill.If Pelosi loses 3 she is sunk. You cant get to 215 if you cant get to 215.

She has to draw a royal flush to get this through. Best of luck.

The undecides who are leaning NO should come out together, publicly, tomorrow. Safety in numbers.

Then they should all get on a plane and go home.

If Nelson had taken this advice on Dec 17, we wouldn’t be enduring this nightmare.

Code Red” - House Target List on Health Care

The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Thursday, March 18th.

And here are toll-free numbers we can use to call any Senators or Reps.

At the first number below you must wait through a tape recording urging you to tell your Rep or Senator to vote “yes” for the health care bill. Just hang on and when the recording is over, you will get the Capitol operator. Just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Then you will either talk to an aid or have the chance to leave a message for him/her to vote NO on the health care bill.

When you use the second number and the Capitol operator comes on, just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Every time I use this number I get the Rep or Senator’s answer machine, so it may be set up that way all the time...to go to their answer machine. Either way you can leave a message to vote NO on the health care bill!

We need to use these toll free numbers that have been set up for the health care/ BO supporters and illegals to use! After all they are FREE!

The Christmas Eve vote was just to get them to conference committee. You advance the bill and see what happens.Who could predict what would happen?

The Democraps are under extreme pressure from all sides. They dont know how to say no, theyre looking for cover. In the end, I think the ones that won't mind losing their seats will vote yes, but it may not be enough.

The Christmas Eve vote and the Nelson betrayal enacted the Senate bill. If Nelson had gone home, the 60 votes would not have been possible to break a filibuster.

I'm afraid you are 100% correct. This will pass by a single vote... all they are doing right now is figuring out who is most vulnerable so they can let them vote "no", but they will most certainly have enough votes.

Watch as many of the Dem representatives who get voted out of office in November end up working in the Obama administration in some capacity as Director of Boondoggles or Falderall Czar as a payback for their vote. Obama is in the back rooms bribing them with YOUR money.

I pray I'm wrong.

If this travesty passes, the entire demon party shall be held accountable, those that voted yes and those that voted no but did not help to see it defeated. Not agreeing with only a small part of the bill is no excuse. No rock big enough for the slimes to hide under this time. The dems are going it alone and their careers will die alone.

Have seen this crap before with NAFTA!

Those 72 "undecideds" have already decided. They will play this out to the last "holdout"!

Here in Ohio one of those holdout's on NAFTA was John Kasich! He kept pretending to be undecided right up to the last day. Of course he voted for it!

I sincerely believe that the Dems don't care about their “career's”. Somewhere they've already been paid or have the promise of being monetarily compensated for their votes.

I believe they feel this is their last chance to bankrupt this nation and will run somewhere and hide when it's all over!

I do not share the pessimism that this is a done deal. House RATS know that BO cannot protect them in November. Hell, they learned that BO couldn’t even get Moakley across the finish line in a special election in Massachusetts.

The only safe route to survival for a moderate RAT is to vote NO so that the GOP will leave them alone in the fall and marshal its efforts on easier pickings (those who vote AYE). Boehner is cutting these types of deals with select RATS.

If this bill does pass, I hope it is 216-215, because then every RAT in every election will have been the DECIDING vote.

Well, most congressmen of both parties believe that presidents come and go, but that a House seat can hold forever, given the rate of re-election of incumbents.

I do not believe that enough RATS are willing to take a knife for this Empty Suit. Anything they are promised will be struck in the Senate, assuming reconciliation is even pursued.
