A few trends in the latest "Confidence in Leaders" Harris poll indicate that the public is not being fooled. In spite of the extreme -- almost pathological -- anti-military bias of the mass media, 59% of the public has "a great deal of confidence" in our military leaders and only 9% have "hardly any confidence at all" in them. That's a huge spread...between the positive and negative. Furthermore, our military leaders have the lowest "only-some-confidence" rating (30% of the public holds such a lukewarm view) and the second lowest "hardly-any-confidence-rating" (9%...). Pretty damn good...and well deserved. Suddenly some of us don't feel so all-alone.

Democrat or Republican, before the insidious Communists went to work on us beginning in the ‘30’s to ‘50’s we were all Americans and stood proudly before our flag. WWII brought us together shoulder to shoulder to fight to win that war. In the bountiful aftermath the government began to raise taxes so mothers had to go to work to support the family’s financial habits, and the infiltrated government schools took over our kids.
But I sense a breath of togetherness again in the Tea Party Movement. The spirit of America is stirring. god bless America!
