Jeb Bush is finally endorsing in the big GOP primary, but it's not the primary we've been waiting for.
Sen. John McCain's (R-Ariz.) reelection campaign announced Wednesday that Bush will back him over former Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-Ariz.).
We'll continue to wait and see whether Bush feels the need to weigh into the GOP primary in his home state. At this point, though, he'd really just be piling on by endorsing Marco Rubio over Charlie Crist.
Here's Bush's statement: "As we continue to face tough challenges both at home and abroad, America needs leaders like Senator John McCain in the United States Senate. John has devoted his life to service and sacrifice for our nation, and demonstrated time and again that he is beholden to no interest other than what is best for America. John is a proven conservative leader committed to reducing taxes, fighting wasteful spending and keeping America safe. We need Johns continued leadership in the United States Senate, and I am proud to support him.
Not at all, GWB had poisoned the well for any “younger” veep that he may have had.
People who would fall for Jeb Bush are either pretty naive, deliberately deceitful, or just plain stupid.
I wonder what McCain has on the Honorable Barry M. Goldwater, Jr, Luke Air Force Base, the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Arizona Fraternal Order of Police, and Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili...oh yeah and the AZ voters.
Palin better understand this and not get too out in front.
NO MORE RINOS!
Further proof no monies should be sent to the eff’n GOP for them to abuse supporting the likes of McPain, or Jeb Bush for that matter.
You’re defending Jeb; so you must be a RINO. /s
Jeb is pro-amnesty RINO rat like McCain.
JD Hayworth has to beat Juan McCain with the “amnesty stick” like a pinata. McCain is as bad or worse than Obama.
Thank you!! JD cannot win the general; he does not have the broad appeal; he comes off like a blowhard; if he wins the primary, we’ll have a Democrat Senator elected.
You are clearly part of the conspiracy that included 77% of AZ voters in 2004
Ain’t it the truth! I feel like a fool for supporting W. He handed the keys of the white house to Islamabama. I think it’s time for millions of people to admit we were wrong about that bunch. I always felt like he might be the lessor of two evils. Now I think they all are.
On another note, McCain accepts Palin’s endorsement. I wonder if he’d accept Hagee’s this time.

Whoever and whatever these people are—pro-union, pro-choice, pro-gayrights, etc—don’t they know there is a Democrat Party that would welcome them??? If you can post there, I intend to give them a bad time—at least waste their time and deride them until I get the zot.
I see some on this thread who are probably members! THX for the link .
Underdogs can surprise you. It’s time for the RINO-RATS in the party to be booted out. Past time.
McCain must retire, he is not fit for further duty.
Remember, the bigger they are, the harder they fall! Look at the money & power the Kennedy Machine had in Mass., but Scott Brown won. He ain’t perfect, but at least that ‘spell’ was broken. (Tedde Kennedy=McCain’s “good friend”.
The Bush’s, like the McCains, are progressives, or worse....
nice salute:

Jeb faced a tough challenge and he caved.
NO surprise then he would support McPain.
You are probably right: AZ is full of what LBJ called “nervous nellies.”
