Cornyn has to go. Both our Texas Senators are stains.

RINO’s do not forward conservatism.

When will we learn??

Probably we learn when we stop following every GOP talk show host who whines against “third parties”....which keeps the GOP supporting RINOs and Liberals

If conservatives would stop voting GOP and start voting independent and conservative....conservatives will eventually rule in our government

I am no Rubio fan (he is pro-Illegal Alien) and will vote for Bob Smith in the primary.....but Cornyn’s comments show that he and the GOP are just Liberals....Democrats with Jobs

This is the Senate equivalent of endorsing Scozzafava over Hoffman. Cornyn, resign or be fired!

Coryn did walk it back a bit... but when he said ““Third parties are not a good thing” maybe he should take a stronger position to prevent that very thing from happening!

Amen! RINO ALL THE WAY! I’ve contacted him three times on health care via email and finally got a form letter response after specifically asking not to get that type reply. Talk about out of touch with the constituents!

Cornyn’s a HUGE disappointment in the NRSC role.

He’s a minor disappointment as a “conservative” senator, too. Not as bad as some, but nowhere near as good as he could be.

And I have every right to say it, because he’s one of mine.

Well...naked finger pointing in the gym showers seems to be the current Democrat venue.... Wonder if Rahm was pointing with his subby finger?

I don’t understand the fear of a third party splitting the republican vote. There are already three parties. Liberal, conservative and RINO. A third party should be formed and invite the decent conservative republicans to join. Naturally that would leave out Cornyn, Graham, McCain, etc.

What the republicans are saying to the Tea Party folks is the same thing the dems say to the far left wing: Where else can you go? If a third party is not formed we will be stuck with the exact same party we now have, a bunch of RINOs. Now, people will say “we need the majority anyway we can get it so we can have the committee chairmanships”. Then McCain will say we need to have co-chairs.

Cornyn sucks. He voted for Barbara Boxers bill prohibiting drilling in ANWR. He voted against instant check for citizenship before hiring and making it criminal to hire illegals, He voted not to prohibit illegals with a history of gang membership from getting a visa,,,then he stabbed the 2 imprisoned border patrol agents in the back.

Cornyn is a first class opportunistic low life new world order guy. And endorsing the metrosexual (at best) Crist, is a perfect example of who he is. Crist is the Scozzafava of 2010.

“I’m honor-bound to leave it as it is,” NRSC chairman Sen. John Cornyn said of the endorsement Monday morning during a meeting with reporters at the committee’s headquarters.
There was no honor in making the endorsement, so why is Cornyn suddenly concerned with honor now?

As I see it, Cornyn is honor-bound to resign From the NRSC for making such poor decisions as chairman, and seriously damaging the committee's reputation.

They have no business endorsing primary candidates. They should wait and support the winner.

Somebody’s going to look stupid when Charlie Suntan repays the party’s loyalty by switching parties or going indy to try to save his sorry ass.

It was all about money? huh?

Agreed - John Cornyn is a good man and a man of his word. That’s why he is “honor-bound” to continue supporting Crist. The same people who are carving him up on this board would be accusing him of throwing name-your-favorite-candidate under the bus if he withdrew support from that person. Do I think Crist is the guy? No.

We've been told that it's our duty to support the party in the general election. We've been told that the primaries is where our voice and choice lies.

Yet, the national party is getting involved in primaries and making endorsements.

They can't have it both ways.

To Sen. Cornyn and any other national party officers:

STAY THE H3!! OUT OF THE PRIMARIES.

“Crist was seen as “the ideal candidate” because he’s a good fundraiser. “

Well, there ya go....that’s all that matters when it comes to running a country...’fundraising’.

Cornyn is also offering to get in the middle of Obama/Grahams amnesty deal in the Senate. I hope people start remembering how two faced this guy can be at times.

“The immigration reform debate has no doubt been stalled. But there is some behind-the-scenes movement.

Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, said he met this week with Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. on the issue. “I am interested in some ideas he has. I shared some ideas I have,” Cornyn said.

Schumer has been working with Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., on coming up with a compromise. Meetings are also ongoing between business and labor leaders.

Reform advocates are furious that Congress and President Obama have done so little to push for change. National Council of La Raza (NLCR) has a new video out urging action. Another Washington rally is also planned for later this month.

Why can’t we just get rid of ALL of the parties? It’s mostly a big game of ‘good cop, bad cop’ anyway. I’d love to see this country have to go vote without an R or D beside anyone’s name.

Btw, that isn’t my idea, it was the founding father’s.
