Why don’t sharks attack lawyers? Professional courtesy.

This isn’t about the GOP it’s about scumbag, sell out lawyers who don’t want their values challenged while they drag good and decent people through the mud and the slime while the ‘defend’ their pos clients.

"(Would the GOP please buy a clue?)"

Nope.

The only way that these guys/gals will find their "clue" is when they get the notice that they need to "find a new day job!"

Steele is first!

Q: How many lawyers are needed to roof a house?

A: Depends on how thin you slice ‘em.

That headline is rather misleading. It implies the GOP at large criticized Liz. The list constituted a bunch of lawyers who worked with some Republicans. They’re 2nd and 3rd tier at best.

If they had’nt squawked, no one would have know their guilt. This whole ‘try-’em-in-a-civil-court routine was designed to produce $ for the legal pockets from the get-go, anyway. The bastards are so money-hungry they would throw the entirity of America down the drain for $10, and their support goes, and always has, to the very top. What a sleazy profession.

Not buying. Lawyers who defend mafia figures shouldn’t be above having their motives questioned. Mob lawyers who go on to work in the Justice Department particularly merit scrutiny.

And the same would be true of Al Qaeda lawyers, and lawyers who have dedicated themselves to closing Guantanamo, and springing terrorists in general (was not Holder involved in getting pardons for Puerto Rican terrorists?), and going after CIA officers, and going after Bush and Cheney too. If they have frankly placed themselves on the side of the enemy in case after case, they may not want their motives questioned but as it happens, I do question their intent and their ideology and their ability to see past their own political blinders.

I frankly don’t want these people in high office. I frankly don’t want them prosecuting American citizens. I don’t trust them to have access to classified information, which they will have if they now start prosecuting Al Qaeda and, if they get their wish, CIA too. I don’t think any of us should have to apologize for distrusting the people who got terrorists sprung from jail when you know that some of these same people have returned to the fight.
