No. If the house votes for the Senate bill, there is NO NEED for reconciliation. bam signs it, and the deed is done.
The reconciliation thing is a lie, a game of smoke and mirrors to fool the public and obama KNOWS it.
REPEAT: There is no need for reconciliation if the house votes passage of the senate version of the bill. And the PUBLIC OPTION is IN THERE. It just doesn’t take effect for several years.
This entire article does not bode well for Democrats. Another great line: "'It does not feel like 1994,' said the senior Democrat, referring to the year that Democrats were last swept from the House majority. 'In 1994, we didn't see it coming.'"
I am hoping even the ones who voted for HC overhaul are rethinking their positions. A few have mentioned McCain admitting he was wrong on full illegal amnesty after several of his constituetns condemned him for it. They said he came out, admitted he was wrong and that saved him politically.
They also said, they can vote for HC reform as one last swan song but expect to be gone if they are up for re-election. So it depends on what kind of a legacy they think the reform will leave them. Especially since the majority of the public have no clue they are ignoring a 100 trillion unfunded liability and adding another one on top.
