Reagan called Romney and his cabal “moderates” who were trying to take over the Republican Party...
Williard Mitt Romney said during a debate in 1994 that he never was a supportor of Reagan...
That while Reagan was president, he (Romney) was an Independant...
Something smacks of political expediency...
and since a Romney is connected with it...
All of the country club, loafer wearing, hyper-arrogant, “elitist” republicans despised Ronald Reagan and everything he stood for. After all, he was so obviously their inferior in every way...not having attended Haavahd and living in the dirt-farmer west.
To be fair, Mitt is not George.
However, Mitt is a political opportunist and should never be trusted.
Reagan and Palin are true conservatives to their core. Mitt is not.

I remember that. I think it was during a debate with Dead Kennedy. Now, this past week, he says that Mike Huckabee is a conservative. He endorsed McCain in his battle with JD Hayworth. He has kissed his own ass goodbye and since he expected to endorse McCain this time around and be endorsed by him in the Presidential election (or Republican primaries) in ‘12, I’m kissing him goodbye, too.
