The democrats have crossed the point of diminishing returns. This condition occurs when the ego or collective ego has so taken over the dynamics that whatever it does ends in failure. Whatever the democrats do or say is now resulting in failure and this is why this health care bill is now a mine field designed to blow off the democrats legs. Look at Harry Reid today who says with a straight face that the loss of 36,000 is "really, really good." Or Nancy Pelosi who says that there is no abortion legislation in the health care bill and then Stupak points out in detail what pages the abortion legislation is on.

This is now an hour by hour thing, where gaffe, after gaffe, after gaffe is being committed for all to see which is the coup the grace, the final knife in the back of the neck.

Things are looking up indeed and don't be afraid to win taking no prisoners at the same time!

Keep calling and faxing everyone. www.faxzero.com allows you to send two free faxes a day.

Make sure your house members get faxes and calls. I also think the GOP stalled it until Christmas and it has dragged on into now March - it will be a lot harder for the Dems.

Never be assured of anything.

HealthCare must be destroyed in a Hollywood like, wooden stake thru its heart, dismembered, with the pieces incinerated and the ashes blown to the far corners of the planet.

Like a zombie in a Bmovie...it keeps springing to life.

I hope it goes down in flames.

But never underestimate the GOP’s ability to defeat itself when it really counts.

If Rats had any intelligence they would let this blow up next week and blame religiously biased blue dogs and republicans for the lack of health care for the 30 million.

Very telling. What's also telling is that the MSM has not lifted a finger to do any rough head counts on where this bill stands. Also, note that there has not been a single report of a previous “NO” democRAT even remotely considering a switch to a “YES” vote.

Yes, there have been some backroom deal with Cong. Jim Matheson’s brother getting appointed to a federal judgeship and now he's reconsidering his previous "NO" vote but other than that, where are all the “change to YES” votes?

Pelosi and Reid think they can flat out lie to the American people and they will buy into it. For hard, hard left rats that may be true but even some democrats can see a black lie when it bites them in the ass as obviously as this one.

This option would help reduce the costs of TFL, as well as costs for Medicare, by introducing minimum out-of pocket requirements for beneficiaries. Under this option, TFL would not cover any of the first $525 of an enrollee’s cost-sharing liabilities for calendar year 2011 and would limit coverage to 50 percent of the next $4,725 in Medicare cost sharing that the beneficiary incurred. (Because all further cost sharing would be covered by TFL, enrollees could not pay more than $2,888 in cost sharing in that year.) http://www.cbo.gov/ftpdocs/99xx/doc9925/12-18-HealthOptions.pdf

Tricare fee increases imposed last week by the Defense Department will be repealed by a provision of the compromise 2010 defense authorization bill unveiled Wednesday by House and Senate negotiators.

The fee increases were announced on Sept. 30 and took effect on Oct. 1, but the defense bill, HR 2647, includes a provision barring any fee increases until the start of fiscal 2011.

Retired Army Maj. Gen. Bill Matz, president of the National Association for Uniformed Services, said the announcement of fee increases was shocking considering that the Obama administration promised earlier this year to hold off on any new fee Tricare fee increases until fiscal 2011.

“President Obama and DoD assured NAUS and the entire military family earlier this year that there would rightly be no increases in any Tricare fees” in fiscal 2010, Matz said. “We took them at their word, and I can’t believe that a co-pay increase like this was allowed to go forward,” he added.
