“Please no more pro-gay marriage and pro-sodomy lectures from the McCains and Cheneys.”

Liz is a Mitt Romney backer, the pro homosexual candidate that agrees with the Cheney’s on homosexuality in the military.

“One issue I want to clarify concerns President Clinton’s “don’t ask, don’t tell, don’t pursue” military policy. I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nation’s military. That goal will only be reached when preventing discrimination against gays and lesbians is a mainstream concern, which is a goal we share.”
Sincerely, W. Mitt Romney

Another unwelcome irrelevant post, not surprising given the source.

I am really tired of the McCain and Cheney klans pushing their gay marriage and sodomy agenda.

A RINO love fest. Anyone Republican or conservative would run away from anything involving Newt after he sabotaged NY-23 with Dede and other RINOs.

ansell:

You’re being a little tough on Liz, who can hardly be faulted for standing by her sister even if she comes out on the wrong side of the issue.

In politics, you will be well served observing an 85 percent rule, conceding that no one is EVER going to side with your positions 100 percent of the time.

And as for Liz backing Romney, that’s easily enough made irrelevant by the rest of us in spring 2012, as we nominate a conservative (preferrably first name Sarah).

And — as for the question your tag rhetorically raises, I am reminded of Chesterton, who would have said you are definitely on to something:

“Tolerance is the virture of the man without convictions.”
