WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama says the time has come to pass legislation overhauling the health care system, asserting that "every argument has been made."
Speaking at the White House Wednesday, Obama said "now is the time to make a decision about how to finally reform health care so that it works" for individuals and businesses.
The president cited wide-ranging arguments for and against it and confronted head-on the accusation by critics that he has been pushing a government takeover of the system.

The debate was over long ago, and Obama lost. So he will usurp his power to ram this putrid 'medicine' down the throats of the American people, who want nothing to do with it.
Obama doesn't care a whit about we the majority who will fund this plan, it's all about his homies and other 'minorities'. In other words, it's about transfering the nation's wealth from those who earn it to those who don't. It's his dream of 'reparations'. This is going to destroy our nation's small business community in short order as people lose their drive to succeed, only to see their hard earned money get taken from them and 'redistributed' to the lazy, the incompetent and the criminal aliens.
It is time to have a 3 million man march on the White House, and to do it soon, in time to show Obama that we won't stand for his plans.
Take out the mandates for individuals to purchase insurance.
Take out the government control.
Take out the rationing.
Take out the death panels.
Take out the price controls.
Take out the public option.
Take out the coverage for illegal aliens.
Put in Tort Reform.
Put in interstate competition.
THEN, perhaps we can start a real debate on health care reform.

Every working man and woman in America, who doesn’t have a pre-exisitng condition, needs to cancel his insurance. Then only when they get sick, they apply for insurance and get it under the guranteed issue provision. That would stop it cold by turning off the money pump and showing it up as the deformed boondoggle it is.

This is the problem, he has long since lost his favorability with the people but it doesn't stop him. Even knowing the American people don't want his death care plan he continues to drive it through anyway, as if he were a king.

When I learned of what his pastor of 20 years was spewing, what his wife was saying, and his own words about his grandmother being "a typical white person", who was "afraid of black people", I knew then who he was. He is a very dangerous man to the American way of life.

Tricare fee increases imposed last week by the Defense Department will be repealed by a provision of the compromise 2010 defense authorization bill unveiled Wednesday by House and Senate negotiators.
Snip The fee increases were announced on Sept. 30 and took effect on Oct. 1, but the defense bill, HR 2647, includes a provision barring any fee increases until the start of fiscal 2011.

Retired Army Maj. Gen. Bill Matz, president of the National Association for Uniformed Services, said the announcement of fee increases was shocking considering that the Obama administration promised earlier this year to hold off on any new fee Tricare fee increases until fiscal 2011.
“President Obama and DoD assured NAUS and the entire military family earlier this year that there would rightly be no increases in any Tricare fees” in fiscal 2010, Matz said. “We took them at their word, and I can’t believe that a co-pay increase like this was allowed to go forward,” he added.
