My "day job" has been interfering with the posting of my (now LONG overdue) "after action" thread.
But that's probably a blessing, as now I will also be able to refute (in that report) the wild allegations posted by the Kos Kids Konspiracy here:

LOL, I don’t know what show that person attended, but it wasn’t the one I attended.
Palin got widespread applause by the audience when she was introduced, and frequently during her segments. I sat right in the middle and looked right and left, and almost everyone was clapping.
Her comments received the normal amount of audience approval, as clapping and hooting took place often. During her stand up routine, some jokes didn’t get a robust response, but most of them did. And anyone who has attended a stand-up routine knows that the audience hardly every claps at every single joke. Johnny Carson himself could tell you that. One of his funniest bits was his reaction to the absence of response to his jokes. He’d get this fake sullen look on his face, and insult his audience to great laughter and hoots.
Palin’s overall interview went very well. Leno was cordial and even lampooned the press for it’s treatment of Palin and her children. He was decidedly nice to her and the fact she was able to do the stand-up stint was evidence of it. And she did a very credible job with that stand-up routine.
You’d have to be a very bitter person to think Palin failed that evening. And the idea that the sound track had to be pumped up is pure misinformation.

What a jerk! Never heard of FReepers or how loud you all could be, not to mention the others in the audience who were charmed by her and thought that her lines were funny because they were!
