I'm not a huge fan of Perry's, though I did vote for him because the other two on the ballot were just out of the question for me.
But I wouldn't say conimbricenses has a great handle on Perry, either. She comes across as a bitter Medina supporter and is likely to tinge any opinions today with hurt and anger.
Perry's done OK by Texas and it's really the Lt. Governor and the legislature that wields power anyway.
I do not want to see Perry aspire to higher positions in Washington, however. I won't support him on any quests of that nature.
1. Gardasil
2. Franchise tax hike
3. Hate Crimes law
4. Abortionist Xavier Rodriguez appointed to Supreme Court
5. Endorsed Rudy Giuliani for President
6. Flip-flopped on immigration after backroom dealings with the Mexican government.
7. State Chair of the Al Gore 1988 campaign
I'd say that Perry has done OK for Massachusetts. But for Texas? Surely you jest.
