Tell everyone you know in Texas go vote. Don't know if I would vote for Perry or Medina if I lived there.

Any takers on turnout and possible runoff?

Already voted Perry. Obvious why any of us wouldn’t vote for KBH. Medina is a paultard truther amateur who is ignorant of how Texas operates, used to be open borders (rhetoric has changed), and has some very anti-localism policies like taking away local taxation funding for schools and give it to Austin.

Why Perry? Frankly, for Texas he is a RINO, but he is more Conservative than most other governors. Pro-life, pro-second amendment, strong on 10th Amendment resolutions, he has done more for border security than the other border governors. He does have some faults (TTC, HPV), however, in both cases, he has shown he is willing to bend to the people. Some call it pandering but I would rather a politician pander when the people make their voices heard about a subject than to stand stubbornly like some dictator.

Texas is in the best shape of all states in the recession. We still have the lowest per capita tax rate (yes, including property taxes) and are running a surplus. Why screw that up?

Voted for Perry already.

Not the best we have ever had, but better than the other choices.

I voted today, took in a hand written list from the North Texas Tea Party. I voted for Perry, Medina lost me when she said on a radio interview she would not say she would stand behind the Republican candidate if it was not her. Well sorry, 3ed party runs got us Bill Clinton and other Democrats. Fools in the Conservative and Libertarian movement often do not understand the way of the world. Its the power of the party not the individual that runs the government process. When you go 3ed party the Democrats win elections and run the government. All government is local, run Tea Party candidates in the Primary’s for all the lower level jobs and start the training camp for real conservatives. You can not take over the conservative movement with a 3ed party you do it with grass roots at the currently party level, Democrat and Republican.

Tell everyone you know in Texas go vote.

I have.

Here's a question for our good Conservative colleagues stuck in liberal states:

Listening to the nearly wall-to-wall political ads on the radio yesterday (WBAP, KSKY and KLIF in the D/FW market), I was stuck by how proudly (and frequently) the term ``Conservative'' was used -- regardless of the office (judges, representatives and governor). Phrases such as ``...a tough Conservative...'', ``...traditional Conservative values...'', ``...strong on Conservative principles...'' were heard in nearly all of them.

1). In blue states, do Republicans also use such terms?

2). And in places like California and Massachusetts, do the Dums sprinkle phrases such as ``...upholding liberal stands...'' in political advertising? Or has the term ``liberal'' rightfully become a badge of dishonor that even the Dums try to avoid?

Voted Perry today. A good man.

The lone woman election helper at the democratic table was overheard to say “It’s going to be a very lonely day today”.

I’m not sure there is a democrat in my very small town in Texas. Could be....but I’m not sure.

Voting this afternoon. Perry. Easy call. KBH is a free-spender, and Medina is a whackjob.

Beck exposed Medina, and then she further exposed herself by refusing to support the GOP winner. She’s a loser.

REMINDER!!!

Are we so desperate to clean house of 'career politicians' that we jump on the bandwagon of Debra MEDINA, an unknown ex-nurse with zero experience, questionable judgement and loyalties and who worked on the RON PAUL presidential campaign???

Perry leans too far to the left at times for the taste of most of us, but consider this: Texas is in better shape than almost any other state in the union since it's been under Perry's governorship since 2000!

If we're going to kick him out, we'd better be D*MN sure we know just what we're replacing him with!

Just WHO would we replace Perry with? Ron paul/truther nutter Medina?

Trecherous Washington RINO Hutchison?*

MUSLIM FAROUK SHAMI?

Or maybe Lib Bill White?

Nominate Medina and we'll surely turn over Texas to White and the 'rats. She CANNOT beat White.

Perhaps in the future a more Conservative candidate will emerge for Texas, but this time around WE HAVE NO CHOICE.

For God's sake, has anybody really looked into her platform- her background? Has this woman even been vetted?

She wants legalized drugs.

She backs gay marriage.

.

She has not spoken to her elderly parents for YEARS. They had to find out she was runing for governor of Texas by reading the newspaper!

http://www.statesman.com/news/texas-politics/medina-hailing-from-beeville-learned-political-skills-on-229907.html?srcTrk=RTR_95609

What does this say about this woman's character?

And rumors are begin to surface about husband Noe's past associations.

Take a look at some of the statements she has made:

"I don't have all of the evidence there, Glenn. I think some very good questions have been raised. In that regard there's some very good arguments and I think the American people have not seen all the evidence there." (When Glen Beck asked her about the 9/11 conspiracy theory)

At 3:30 on this video, Medina says, 'why were there no police killed on 9 11?' (???)

http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/politics&id=7274692

"It’s a shame isn’t it, that Republicans continue to ignore Hispanics especially here in Texas?’

"Who is going to think more about Latino families? Rick Perry, Kay Bailey Hutchison or me, who has a Latino family?”

"Being married, however, to someone with a Mexican American heritage, I certainly embrace the culture.”

"I believe we too often get into race when it’s immaterial.” (Obummer, is that you?)

I don't believe for one minute Medina's propaganda about wanting to strengthen the border!

La Raza probably has her in their back pocket!

This idea that Beck (or anybody else) sabotaged Medina is absurd. If you can’t answer “did the govt have anything to do with the 9/11 attacks?” you're not be fit to run for dogcatcher.

Glenn Beck has once again helped the tea-party stay in the Republican mainstreamby by weeding out dangerous fringe thinkers like Medina.

Medina is NOT representative of the Tea Party movement. She USED them- latched herself on to them. She’s a hard core Libertarian who has realized that the Libertarian Party will never win anything and that the only possible way to get herself into office is to do what Ron Paul did and wrap herself in the Republican cloak in hopes that it will fool enough of the voters enough of the time.

Whatever you may think of Glenn Beck; thank God he outed her in time to avert a tragedy in Texas.

Retrieve your sombrero from the ring and go home Senora Medina. You're Texas toast. . .

* REMEMBER THIS, TEXANS:

Feds Have Built Only 32 Miles of 700 Mile Double-Border Fence Originally Mandated by Congress

“One reason DHS has been able to do this is an amendment that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R.-Texas) slipped into an omnibus appropriations bill that Congress passed on December 18, 2007. Hutchison’s amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before.”
