Arizona April 24 - An audit done by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents shows more than half of Arizona businesses have illegal immigrants on their payroll.
An Immigration Department spokesperson says 43 out of the 84 companies screened in audits have been sent violation notices about suspected illegal employees.

If they agree to be deported (many times agreeing to self-deportation), they often return to the U.S. in short order and are emboldened against our laws and courts. 80% on deportation orders have not been deported.
Gang sweep ordered after Fresno's deadly weekend
Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer ordered a crackdown on gangs in southwest Fresno after two people were shot to death Sunday, including a 16-year-old boy found with an AK-47 assault rifle.
