Can you imagine what it is going to be like when Islamic terrorist orgs. get chemical weapons? Will we still look to fight a PC war then?
Jihad as American as apple pie, says US-born cleric
Violent jihad, or Islamic holy war, is "becoming as American as apple pie," US-born fugitive cleric Anwar Al-Awlaqi said in an unauthenticated message released Friday.
"Western jihad is here to stay," warned Awlaqi as he commented on a blonde American who dubbed herself "JihadJane" and has pleaded not guilty to trying to recruit Islamist militants to murder a Swedish cartoonist.
"Jihad is becoming as American as apple pie and as British as afternoon tea," the US-Yemeni cleric said in an English-language message posted on militant forums and released by the US-based SITE monitoring agency.
Western attempts to stop the spread of violent jihad to people who do not fit the usual profile of a potential extremist have failed, he argued, amid a rash of home-grown terrorism cases in the United States.
"Eight years after 9/11 and the declaration of war against terrorism, jihad is still reaching the shores of Europe and America. Not from the outside, but from within. Jihad is not being imported but is being homegrown.

Obama renews call for Iran dialogue
March 20, 2010 5:59 a.m. EDT
President Obama reiterated his offer of dialogue with Tehran in a message on Saturday to mark the beginning of the Iranian new year.
The online video, subtitled in Farsi, was timed to coincide with Nooroz, a festival celebrating the Persian new year. It pledged the administration's commitment to a more hopeful future for Iran.
"I want the Iranian people to know what my country stands for," Obama said in the message. "The United States believes in the dignity of every human being, and an international order that bends the arc of history in the direction of justice -- a future where Iranians can exercise their rights, to participate fully in the global economy, and enrich the world through educational and cultural exchanges beyond Iran's borders."
Obama said though Iran has "chosen to isolate itself, " he is open to dialogue.
"That is why, even as we continue to have differences with the Iranian government, we will sustain our commitment to a more hopeful future for the Iranian people," he said.
****************************** NOW, I really got to go! Later.
Thanks for heads up on Persian New Year. I am not well informed about the culture, but have great respect for impact of some of their leaders.
Came to love and respect the Persian people during the #iranelection phase through twitter.
We in Texas are approaching a landmark anniversary on Monday. It is San Jacinto Day, April 21. You hear a lot of talk about Remember the Alamo, but the battle of San Jacinto put things in motion that still resound.
Thanks.
My wife isn’t a member of FR.
Stay committed!!
Redistribution of wealth IS this administration's political correctness - at all costs, spare none.
Neither is my husband. He gets daily coronaries from the subject matter after reading Drudge Report. There are countless millions of Americans just like your wife and my husband. Many of my friends don't post anywhere. They communicate via emails and by phone.
nooruz mobarak
That’s my wife, she reads Drudge and my emails, also other emails and the phone. We have 25 or so email friends that we communicate regularly with.
I send many of the same things that are posted in FR to this group and we discuss the news, humor and songs of the day. ;)
thanks
Three quarters of Americans today KNOW exactly what this administration's version of "hope" portends, and it's nothing they remotely desire, want or need.
A Toronto man has been killed in Somalia while fighting with the al-Qaeda-linked militant group Al-Shabab, according to a message posted on the Internet. The message, which accompanies a video posted on YouTube, identifies the man as "Mohamed al Muhajiri" and says he worshipped at the Abu Huraira Mosque in Toronto.
CIA's jihadi chat room hacked by Pentagon
The ongoing cyber war between the military and the CIA is getting nasty, with the agency crying foul after losing its favorite terrorist message board. And now Saudi princes and Texans are being dragged into the fight, too.
Anti-Islamic activities of jihadi fighters
Recently, a journalist from a well reputed international media group took an interview of one such determined terrorist at a secret place in Punjab province of Pakistan. This 30 years old Punjabi youth, named Amjad Butt had an AK 47 on his shoulder and a revolver on his side. While introducing himself, Butt said earlier that he himself was drug addicted and later got involved in its smuggling. He said that after his involvement in drug business, people started calling him goon. Butt accepted that neither can he perform Namaaz nor can he read the holy Quran. Other than that, he doesnt have any Islamic knowledge. Despite this, Amjad is so confident that its easy for him to kill anybody and give away his own life in the name of Islam. Punjab province, Pak Occupied Kashmir and FATA region on Afpak border have large numbers of such fighters who, whether know Islamic education or not, follow it or not, but are experts in killing and getting killed in the name of Islam.
Amazingly, this snip is NOT about America, but read it and see the irony:
The fact is that seething just below a calm surface, we have quite massive public anger. Like the lava from a simmering volcano, this rage pours forth from time to time. Citizens everywhere, as they struggle to survive in times that get harder by the day, hold great rancour against the government. The failure to deliver on all the various promises made by a set-up that came to power on the basis of its professed commitment to the cause of the people adds to this sentiment. There is a very strong perception of large-scale corruption, that pockets are being lined and lucrative contracts awarded, and that at the end of their stint in power many of those who today hold office will retire to their villas or to apartments overseas to enjoy the illegal gains accumulated over the past months. People across the country will meanwhile remain as impoverished and as miserable as ever. Rather than accusing 'aliens' of stirring up trouble, the government needs to take heed of this reality. At some level at least the support of the people is essential. This is all the more true in a democracy, given that in theory at least the decision-makers hold their position because of the will of the people. The government must realize that if it does not serve them, if it makes no effort to cater to their needs, the distance between it and the masses will continue to grow and, as a result, we may see more rage on our streets.
Happy Persian New Year to you!

Creative editing and outright lies behind CAIRs smear of Islam textbooks
Snip: One problem CAIR faced, however, is that there wasn't any actual objectional material in the textbooks that they could find, so Barry reports that CAIR had to resort to some creative editing to manufacture their outrage:.......Read the whole post exposing CAIR's lies.
