Snips: It is clear, however, that the government of the United Socialist States of America no longer considers the Constitution to be anything it should pay attention to. It may in fact be intentionally ignoring this issue in the hopes that some of our more ardent patriots will attempt to take action on their own -- giving the administration an excuse to "crack down on violent militia groups" and push through a repeal of the Second Amendment.
Columbia deports Chinese illegals
A busload of Chinese tourists cruising along an isolated mountain road in southwestern Colombia looked suspicious to Colombian cops with good reason. Police who stopped the northbound bus at a checkpoint on the Panamerican Highway south of Popayan on Monday found the 30 "tourists" to be illegal immigrants trying to make their way to the United States.

Snip: Though the owner, David E. Tash, was not present, his son Andrew Tash was on site, along with 27 other people who lived there. Various locations throughout the home were converted into sleeping quarters, including two basement apartments, which did not meet Town standards for egress, ceiling height, or smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

This past weekend my wife and I visited the Coronado National Forest near Portal, Arizona. While there we came upon an official USDA Forestry Service sign that stated:

An apparent coup bid by army mutineers in this tiny nation, widely viewed as Africa's first narco-state, has heightened concerns that South American drug lords are expanding their power in a region where poverty and political upheaval is the norm.

Wave of anger rises over vaccine scandal
Shortly after Liu Yans four-year-old son, Liu Yi, was bitten by a dog, he did what any responsible parent would do: took his child to the hospital for a vaccination. Two weeks later, after the fourth injection, Liu Yi became violently ill. The next morning, on Aug. 27, 2008, the boy was taken to First Peoples Hospital in Yangquan city in central Chinas Shanxi province, where he was diagnosed with viral meningitis. Liu Yis condition quickly deteriorated and he died later that afternoon. Liu Yan blamed the rabies vaccination for his sons death, and according to a searing media report last month, he might not be alone.
