Yeah, I like Sarah Palin too. She’s articulate and telegenic, embodies conservative values, and has a record of confronting corruption in her own party.
That said, resigning her office and going on the books and lectures circuit does suggest the appearance, at least, of cashing in.
Not that I would really blame her.
People continue to forget that as a sitting governor of Alaska, Sarah would be at significant disadvantage to almost ANY other candidate for higher office, simply based on geography. It’s a helluva lot different than a Rep or Senator in DC who has daily access to a microphone simply by walking outside their office door. A microphone wielded by a nationally recognized reporter I should add, making note that Alaska does have media (those vermin are everywhere). you’re looking at a multi-day trip just to appear in a national forum and Sarah would then be criticized for being out of the state for so many days. Let’s be realistic here, people.
And you show me one Republican who resents another "cashing in" (as you put it), and I'll show you a two-faced RINO.
