President Barack Obama is using nicotine replacement therapy to help himself quit smoking, according to the results of his physical exam released Sunday.
Navy Capt. Dr. Jeff Kuhlman examined Obama at the Bethesda Naval Medical Center in Maryland Sunday morning and recommended that the president "continue smoking cessation efforts."
Obama's opponents and some in the press raised his cigarette smoking as an issue on the campaign trail. Last June, Obama called himself a "former smoker" who occasionally "slips up" and has a cigarette, but never in front of his family.
Otherwise, Kuhlman noted that Obama is in "excellent" health and is "fit for duty" and is expected to remain that way for the duration of his presidency.

I quit 2 years ago by setting down the pack of half smoked cigs and that half pack is still sitting alongside the computer!

Under most any circumstance one could imagine - Biden as POTUS would curdle your blood.
However, I believe the reason he's one of the poorest (financially) reps in DC is because he's so darn dumb and has such a motor mouth that no one wants to 'own' him.
I doubt Soros has ever bothered with him, nor do I imagine he's a Muslim sympathizer.
So compared to what we now have sitting on what he considers His Throne - we might well be better off with Biden, whom we might just be able to survive...his native ignorance and imcompetence might be our best bet.

If he ever has the guts to take up Browns’ BB challenge I hope Scott and Ayla run him into the perfect example of those “If you smoke, you choke” PSAs. However I doubt Obama will take them up. There must be at least one lib in the WNBA he could bring in as a ringer to assure a win, but his ego wouldn’t let him play second fiddle to a girl on “his” team.
That's exactly how I quit -
(well, it was long before computers, back when they were 35 cents a pack - in the '60's.)
One day, the phone rang, and per habit, I lit up a cigarette before answering.
then I saw that I had a cigarette burring in the kitchen ashtray...and then, walking into the living room, saw one there too.
then is when I realized I was not in control.
I put the pack down on the kitchen counter and every time I got the urge, I'd pick it up and say "I'm bigger'n you are!" and put it down.
Did that for a full year...over 40 year ago. I think I've got it licked. ;o)
