Just noticed the Primary election returns. Appears that the Republicans of Texas District 14 are pretty united in their choice of candidate.

Good to see. Texas 14 should be another easy win for the GOP in the General Election, as usual.

LOL, that’s hardly the rest of the country.
That’s like saying that Arlen Specter’s district is representative of the whole country.
(It isn’t.)
Just keep pushing a moonbat.

Never said that Texas 14 was representative of the whole country.

Just happy to see that the Republicans of Texas 14 are strongly united behind their chosen candidate -- which should result in an easy GOP win for this seat, as usual.

Yes, it is time for prayer and it is time to fight. I sat beside a woman last night who told me that I had given her the Freedom Advocates booklet years ago AND SHE NEVER READ IT. She apologized. She was going to read it when she got home.

I talked briefly last night to Michael Shaw, the presenter, and head of F.A. He mentioned how difficult it was to get people to read material when you give it to them. I know that at least some of the people I gave the booklet to did read it, because we discussed it later. I can only hope that they shared it with others as I had asked.

Shaw gave us tons of information that people had never heard before. There were about five hundred people at the meeting. I suspect that our county commissioners are going to see a lot more riled up people when they have meetings about new proposed regs on land use. The five member board has three leftist members. Most things are passed on a three to two vote. I think that we are going to vote them out at the next election.

I have been doing an occasional article on Agenda 21 in my newsletter. (first-edition-online.com). Last night I got information that I will use in the next issue. People are waking up. Finally.

Funny, you've been pushing it.
As if the moonbat stands a chance.
Now, quote for me what percentage of total votes he got in the last Presidential election?
Hmmm?

Oh, as I said in my own commentary, I don't think that Ron Paul will be running for President in 2012. Simply too old; Sarah Palin's my girl. I'm just glad to see that Ron Paul will still be a voice for small government in the House -- as will his son Rand, once he rides Sarah's coattails to victory in the Senate.

That being said, though, I do agree with the Israeli Zionist who authored the article I posted:

Since I believe that Israel should be able to act confidently in its own defense, I strongly agree with Shmuel Ben-Gad's argument that freeing Israel from the constraints of foreign aid will actually improve her defensive position, by allowing her more independence of action. (As well as reducing the intergovernmental subsidy for the "shackles of socialism" which have held back the Israeli economy).

No, you pushed Rand.
He and his father are inseperable.
QUESTION:”You’re basically what I would call a chip off the old block. Your policies are basically identical to your father, correct?”
ANSWER:”I’d say we’d be very very similar. We might present the message sometimes differently.. I think in some ways the message has to be broadened and made more appealing to the entire Republican electorate because you have to win a primary.” ~ Rand Paul on Alex Jones, 5/21/09

I.E. His ideology is the ideology of his father.

No, you pushed Rand.

Just like my favorite Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin, I do support Rand Paul.

And, yes, I do believe that Ron and Rand Paul do have the right policy on Foreign Aid (i.e., eliminate it all) -- as suggested by Shmuel Ben-Gad, an Israeli Zionist who values Israeli independence of action in its own defense.

What is your argument against Ben-Gad's position? Let's hear it. C'mon, details and specifics, let's have 'em.

Dropping U.S. aid to Israel is a stupid and tactically suicidal decision for both nations.

Dropping U.S. aid to Israel is a stupid and tactically suicidal decision for both nations.

Why?

How does the annual expenditure benefit the US? Do you think Israel would not be a friend to the US without Foreign Aid? She was a friend to the US before we started giving Foreign Aid.

Does it benefit Israel for Democrats and liberal Republicans to use Foreign Aid as a tool by which to coerce Israel into giving land back to the Arabs? Prior to her receipt of US Foreign Aid, Israel's borders were expanding, not contracting.

Back your assertion. Make a facts-based argument. C'mon, let's have it.

WHY?

LOL, Take a look at which nations over there are truly our friends.
If you can’t see the reason staring you in the face, that then tells me your real agenda here.

I'm beginning to see that you can't. And I'm not surprised.

Answer my questions, if you can.

Still waiting to hear your answers. (You've provided none. Unsurprisingly).

And as I said, it is a TACTICALLY suicidal idea.
If the stressed word there isn’t a good enough hint, and teh statement about “Who are our friends” doesn’t do it, then you are hopeless.
And as I said, if you can’t see it, this tells me what your agenda is.
You might not want to continue that path on FR.

Okay. Please detail exactly what you think would be the TACTICAL downside of the US eliminating all Foreign Aid.

What negative results would occur, and why? If it's so obvious, you should be able to tell me.

Sorry pal, if you can’t see it, then you are telling me what your agenda is.
And it isn’t one I care to listen to.
Let me put it to you this way: Our aid to Israel is symbolic.
Muslims are big on symbolism.
I doubt you’ll even figure it out.

Although the term is used a lot, countries don't have 'friends', they have interests. The question is what is in our security and financial interest. Dealing with the world is a chess game with unlimited potential moves- you can't predict the future, you can only work with your interests in a way that seems strategically best.
