Thank you for your kind words. She heard back from a mutual friend in Santiago that is OK, but she has not heard from Zarella either. The quake was centered just north of Concepcion, where the town of Chillian is located. This friend of my daughter's has been on my prayer card for a year or so due to some physical problems, so I feel especially linked.
Thought you might like to know that my daughter did hear from her friend this evening. They are 20 mi or so inland from Concepcion, and their house survived, though everything inside is smashed. They have no electrcity, or running water, but are all ok.
