CNN reporting that quake hit at about 1:34am local time.

I'm about 80 feet from the bay and keeping my ears open for sirens. So far no warnings have been issued but that's not assuring since the quake was in Chile.

There are two directions that give Hawaii no advanced warning, Chile is one and the Aleutians the other.

If that is the case, then the quake struck at 10:34 pm Pacific time. Counting 15 hours from that, any tsunami would be expected around 1:34 pm Pacific, 11:34 am Hawaii time.

USGS says tsunami was generated but struck the Chilean coast at the epicenter.
