Rep. Baron Hill (D-IN) will announce today that he will not run for U.S. Senate, Politico reports.
Hill’s decision means Rep. Brad Ellsworth (D-IN) is now “the strong favorite to capture the Democratic nod in the battle for the Senate seat that Democrat Evan Bayh is departing from after two terms.”
foxnews.com shows a lot of boats in the water right off the beach. Doesn’t seem to smart to me, but who knows...

The boats were told to head on out to ride it out. They were told to leave. (per Fox expert). Not really a wave coming, it’s a surge of water (per expert).
Reporter from Hilo says a strong underwater current is pushing a lot of mud into the river. River height up about 6”.

some people are clueless. they are in their own little world. some people don’t listen to the radio or watch the news. Maybe that swimmer’s one of them.

and they’re saying it’s going to be another half hour maybe. Tsunami warning folks are saying it’s running later, maybe an hour later.
Mud too? It sounds like it’s going to be a surge of mud, sea life and junk churned up from the sea bottom.

They did just say that some scientists have just infomed them that it may be another hour...before it arrives...
