I think Obama is making a big mistake in delaying his reconciliation vote by a month or two. That gives the Blue Dogs and other red district Dems time to see if this sham-summit moves the poll numbers at all.
If I'm one of those guys, the prospect of a decisive defeat in November sounds a lot scarier than anything Rahmbo might threaten, especially given his own precarious position.
I agree. Even with the MSM running interference for him, Obama can't make reconciliation fly without losing another 10 points in the polls.
