I lost my Mom suddenly on Jan. 4.
This was the kind of thing, where she would have been calling me saying, “Are you watching this? Can you believe what they are saying? “
I think this *has* been a historic thing...but....
hopefully Americans have the sense to see that this was a show. Obama was going to do what he was going to do. They got mad when we called it “Obamacare”.....but when both bills were tanking....he stepped in...as we knew he would and NOW it’s Obamacare.
From what I have seen today....Democrats don’t allow Republicans equal time...even after CALLING them to a publicized showdown.
They just don’t have the balls to be fair.
They have the variation of their bill and they are going to pass it.
True believers are going to say, “He tried!” WITHOUT taking into consideration what he has said and how he has behaved.
He told Boehner to @#$#4 off with the Republican alternatives.
He’s asking for something he already had...but he’s not going to accept.
It’s been an historic sham.
Now, more wine.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry, (((( Winstons Julia )))).
It’s tough to lose our mom’s. A loss that never heals.
I know how you feel. I just lost my mother a few weeks ago, too, and it’s still hard for me to think I just can’t call her up and say, “did you hear about...” whatever, even some totally trivial thing.
That said, I was appalled by the combination of stupidity, ruthlessness and rudeness projected by the Boy Wonder. I honestly don’t think we’re going to make it to the 2012 elections.
If he gets this thing through with “reconciliation,” I think there will be an explosion of anger among the public. I’m also not entirely convinced he has the votes to do it, though.
Maybe it’s time for me to have some wine...
