There are millions of Americans working full time who do not get health insurance as part of their employment.

And a lot of them are self-employed.

Not to mention that getting hired doesn’t neceesarrily mean that you’ll get covered by the employer’s health care provision. That’s what all this discussion of pre-existing conditions is about.

It’s no longer that if you’ve got a job, you’ve got health care.

No but if you;re employed, you have money and thus can buy insurance if you want it. (we should be working on ways to lower the cost- not just cover people)
