That Moody Blues song was the last time Justin Hayward, John Lodge and Ray Thomas shared lead vocal duties, alternating on different lines of the song. Three years later, Thomas retired, and the group pretty much imploded, but that 1999 disc was a masterpiece.

I don't even know who it was that posted Jimmie Rodgers' Tucumcari, but it wasn't the version I grew up listening to. That version was sung by Jimmie Driftwood and told the tale of two Indian lovers, Tucum and Cari.
