Ummm...no.
I said that in our personal experience of owning 4 Toyotas, over a 25 year time period, we had ONE malfunction. This is in comparison to a Plymouth Voyager that was a dangerous lemon literally from Day One, and was in the shop more than it was in our garage, two Ford Expeditions that were reliable enough, but had countless build quality issues, and Chevy Trucks that had electric window problems, AC units with ducts that routed the condensation under the mats INSIDE the cab, and a safety circuit that policed the correct closure of the gas cap so diligently, that it arbitrarily would not allow the driver to start the engine, even though you had filled the tank three stops previously : /
