So, has he disavowed these views? Since Rand Paul is using his father's organization and mirroring many if not most of his views, I think it's perfectly reasonable to assume that he holds these views unless he specifically says no.
Do you think Robert Gibbs is on the same page as Obama?
You can’t go around using quotes that aren’t real, making stuff up is not going to lead any one to the truth, lately I have been asking people to verify some pretty strong statements and quotes and positions of various candidates that they make on freerepublic, and I get no response from most of them, or maybe an angry outburst with still no source, and then I see them posting it on other threads, that is spreading disinformation.
I’m rapidly learning that some people here are fact based and some think that they can assume something or desire to believe something and then cloak that assumption in what appears to be a fact and disseminate it to unsuspecting freepers.
If freerepublic is going to be source for information and not a DU type sewer of nonsense and false junk, then people can’t post here like they do at DU.
If you want to make your claims do, but be able to prove them.

Yes, that John Birch Society. The one that accused President Eisenhower of being a Communist. The one that William F. Buckley, whom many of us remember today, rightly threw out of the conservative movement.
Dr. Paul stated,
"The John Birch Society is a great patriotic organization featuring an educational program solidly based on constitutional principles. I congratulate the Society in this, its 50th year. I wish them continued success and endorse their untiring efforts to foster 'less government, more responsibility ... and with God's help ... a better world.'"
The time has come to stop distinguishing Ron Paul from his tin foil hatted supporters. He is not above them, he is of them. He agrees with them, he joins them in their gatherings, and he cheers them in their spreading of nutty conspiracy theories. This is the real Ron Paul.

How this applies to his son, Rand Paul. I don't know.
Howzabout this.
Here's a little historical anecdote I heard from Ron Paul's former chief staffer, Dr. Gary North. It's from his article, "Nuclear Agates in a Marbles World".
There is one target with such enormous strategic importance that for it be taken out is so unthinkable that literally everything hinges on it not just today but permanently. This target is ground zero of a balance of power strategy that has been operational for 1400 years. It is a granite cubicle called the Kaaba. Inside it is a black stone, which Muslims believe was found by Abraham and Ishmael. For hundreds of millions of Muslims, this is the holiest of relics. If these two religious objects inside Mecca were ever obliterated, the survival of Islam might be called into question.
That would make the Bomb more powerful than Allah....
This is theologically inconceivable for Muslims, or at least ritually unmentionable."
Now THAT is Political Honesty.
THAT is how you win a War against Islam (if we're politically incorrect and honest enough to admit that we are at war with Islam). NUKE MECCA. Islam cannot be true, if Mecca doesn't exist.
And on, and on, and on....
In Islam, Mecca is God's geographic point of contact with the Faithful. All prophecies lead to Mecca. The nuclear destruction of Mecca would be as theologically-devastating to Islam, as would the discovery of Christ's Bones to Christendom.
The difference is, Christ's Bones can't be found on Earth -- because He reigns at the right hand of the Father even now.
But Mecca can be destroyed. And that would overthrow the very philosophical basis for the existence of Islam. Game, Set, Match -- permanently.
In other words, if you want to fight a War against Islam: either Nuke Mecca and be done with it, forever -- or else keep bleeding blood and treasure in the same sorts of halfway brush wars, for decades.
I've only ever seen two public figures willing to speak on these facts in public: former Representative Tom Tancredo, and Ron Paul's proxy writer Dr. Gary North!!
Why is it that only Tom Tancredo's camp, and Ron Paul's camp, are willing to confront Theo-political Reality? Nuke Mecca, and it's all over for Islam, forever... but only Tom Tancredo's people, and Ron Paul's people, are willing to speak this truth out loud.
Sarah Palin understands the importance of Theo-Politics. That's probably why she's bringing the Rand Paul people under her wing.
FWIW, I agree with you on that.
Of course Ron Paul is more of a Bircher than he is a "straight-up Libertarian".
Of course Ron Paul is more of a Bircher than he is a "straight-up Libertarian". And that's darn well a good thing.
John Birch is a hero of Christian missionary work in China, and the Society which bears his name is proud to offer the Right fusion between the two Conservative Ideals of Traditionalism and Libertarianism, in their annual Freedom Index -- which Ron Paul is consistently-high-ranked.
I'm not a member of the John Birch Society, but I admire their namesake and their founding ideals. If that puts me in Ron Paul's company (and, yeah, I know it does)... then I say: Bircher, and Proud.
Pro-Life, Pro-Border Security, Pro-Capitalism, and Pro-Constitution. Oh, and Pro-Sarah Palin and Pro-Rand Paul.
If this be "RonPaulist Treason"... then make the most of it.
Ron Paul is for Ron Paul.
He is not a Republican.
Fine, throw him under the bus. Doesn't matter anyway.
He's too old to run for President, but he's so beloved in his District that he could well remain in Congress for another 20 years. What wrong with having a reliable GOP-Victory, Pro-Constitution vote in the House? That's where Ron Paul is most useful, anyway.
Meanwhile, Rand Paul enjoys Sarah Palin's support in Kentucky, and as the likely de facto leader of the Paul People could probably throw their support towards Sarah Palin in 2012.
This (the Paul endorsement) makes Sarah Palin more likely to win. I think that's a good thing. She is establishing her political alliances, and she's including the Paul People at her table -- especially on Domestic Economic Policy, which the Paul People care about most, anyway.
I call that smart politics on Sarah's part.
Pro-Sarah Palin, and Pro-Rand Paul.
Try this shibboleth:
You know what IBTZ means? I looked it up. It means:
Well, guess what? I Beat The Zot, thou harpies and harridans.
Support for the Palin/Paul alliance is apparently quite welcome on Free Republic. So expect more of it, lots more, in the near future.
Sarah Palin and Rand Paul. My two favorite National-Level Republicans.
May the Palin/Paul Alliance grow, and prosper!
Your "use" of Sarah Palin for your libertarian/rondamentalist ulterior motives has bought you a ticket home. I stand by my .... IBTZ!
(Shrugs).
The American Ghetto can be just as rough as Baghdad. In downtown Roanoke, I've had the business end of a firearm pressed against my skull by an opponent.
Can "Allegra" say that?
Yeah, I didn't think so.
Keep waiting. I'm here to stay.
Just the way it's gonna be.
The Palin/Paul Alliance: The New Definition of American Conservatism.
Be there, or be square.
MurryMom????
Dude, I can't be a "Mom". I'm a guy.
Now, for the record, "Mrs. C_C" certainly looks forward to being a Mom.
But, y'know, we're working on that. We're Southern Presbyterians, ergo, we copulate like Viagra-addled bunny-rabbits. But please, have a little patience, okay?
oops. Too early; bad link above.
Canteen Ping. IBTZ for a Paulbot.

BTTT
Glad to see someone stand up for honesty in posts on a thread where it isn’t a popular position.
Kudos to you, sir.
This guy, bradyjonathon, has sent out a Ron Paul spam FReepmail and needs ZOTting. Thanks.
