Sounds like daughter’s crew. She in “collecting” mode again. Brought an 18 year old girl with her today that they have taken in.

I’d love clover. Yarrow grows straight up from hell. Napalm airstrike material.

I don’t mind the clover plant, but the seeds, I.E. stickers, are more than I can handle.

Done a good job with the thistles this year, wife would be proud. ;)

The only reason though is because it’s been wet and you could pull them without breaking. About a 35 gallon trash can a week.

You talking about Burr Clover there Tex? Our lawn is infected with Buttercup and I will try diesel next if it has your endorsement...

My former neighbor planted yarrow and morning glory in his yard. He moved some plants from the mountains to replant, and in the process, disbursed poison ivy in the mix. He moved about a year and a half ago, and died this year.

Last spring, I took both kids to the doctor with oozing rashes on their legs... and hence found the poison ivy, then filled the sprayer with diesel... now I’m dealing with the morning glory and yarrow. I’m thinking of taking some flowers up to his grave. Perhaps something with three leaves.

I guess TB, it’s the only kind I’ve seen. Does have pretty little yeller flowers though.

I’ve got no problem with that but it may not work as well as you expect. I’d suggest kerosene if you can find it.

BTW, what the h*** is wrong with buttercups???

I used to have half an acre of buttercups and wife would not let me cut them until they quit blooming!

We have a little white flowered Morning Glory (field bind weed) and Round-up controls it but it kills the grass also.

Bring lots of film the next time you pass this way and we’ll take you to Ferndale, the scene of Out Break, The Majestic and Salems Lot

You’re on. Well, except for the film part.

I’ve got some memory cards though. We’re good. I love taking photos.

I had an old friend who was to honeymoon in Ferndale. I told him to be sure to see the graveyard. He told that to his soon to be wife who thought I was morbid until the Ferndale brochure arrived in the mail that extolled the graveyard. They went and saw it.

I have been by the cemetery many times but I have yet to visit the Ferndale museum as they keep erratic hours. It is small but filled with neat old stuff according to my daughter’s husband who was born and raised there. Did your friends stay at the Victorian Inn?

Ferndale through the filters of Wikipedia. Has anyone ever clicked on a hot link in Wiki?

You're not going to get me to fall for that line GR. Here is a look at some of the architecture of Ferndale and the new famous Ivanhoe. Now I really do have to get to bed as we have a early morning appointment with the grim reaper tax accountant ..

You have a tax accountant?

I guess I’ll crawl back into my trailer now and watch Iron Chef.
